Falcons is the first team to make it to the grand final of BetBoom Dacha Dubai, taking down BetBoom team in an impressive reverse sweep.

After winning their series, the team offlaner Ammar "ATF" Al-Assaf sat down for a post-game interview in which he discussed why they lost game one, the impact of the team's coach, and how to beat his own team.

The series was off to a rough start for Falcons, as BetBoom took game one convincingly, holding the networth advantage throughout the match and even shutting down ATF's signature Mars.

When asked why they lost the opening game, Ammar put it down to the team missing out on their warm-up match and needing time to get online, "Our communication was really of, I'm not sure what's happening to us, every time our first game, we're totally off without scrim. Barely anything is being said, so nobody knows what to do."

Falcons went all out when building their team, which includes two International winners, one of the most decorated supports from North America, and arguably the most sought-after offlane in the world.

They also brought in the only person in the world to win an Aegis as both a player and a coach, Kurtis "Aui_2000" Ling.

Aui_2000 is famous for his innovative way of playing Dota 2, winning The International Five by spamming Techies, a hero seen as a joke at the time.

His influence on ATF has been to improve his basics, most notably what to do when he can't play the lane against a hard counter.

"He helped me with the way I don't play lanes usually, which is skipping. Because I'm always like really bad at it would feed a lot. So he would watch replays with me and help me how to do it."

Skipping is dragging creeps from behind the enemy tier two tower and bringing them closer to your side, usually between the tier one and tier two, making it difficult for the enemy to contest the lane and avoiding engagements in losing matchups.

ATF to Malr1ne: "No matter what you're going to pick Huskar"

The first two games of the series were entertaining with back-and-forth engagements but game three was a complete stomp and a big part of that was due to the last pick Huskar.

ATF believes that Huskar should always be picked if the game allows it, though he admits that the hero is in a bad spot right now due to the abundance of Shiva's Guard.

"I always tell my friend Malr1ne no matter what you're going to pick Huskar. It's always bad when it comes to last pick because unfortunately Huskar just has too much healing reduction nowadays."

Wrapping up the interview, ATF was asked how to beat Falcons, since they are flexible with their core picks, particularly Ammar and Malr1ne, who share several heroes such as Timbersaw and Huskar.

The offlaner had a simple response, that oftentimes it's best to avoid problems entirely whenever possible."Just ban them, one ban is two heroes so it's worth it."

The Conclusion of BetBoom Dacha Dubai will be on February 17th, catch all the action live on Twitch.
