Team Liquid advanced to the playoffs of PGL Wallachia Season 1 after taking down Team Secret in the final match of the group stage. The showdown featured a face-off between former teammates Clement "Puppey" Ivanov and Michał "Nisha" Jankowski.

The Polish mid emerged victorious. It is the seventh time Liquid and Secret faced off since Nisha left and out of the seven games, Liquid took five series while tying two of them.

After eliminating his former squad, Michał shared how he learned to play Timbersaw and described his overall playstyle.

In the second game of the series, Nisha picked Timbersaw and delivered a master class in playing the hero in the mid-lane. He had no trouble keeping pace with Teng "Kordan" Tjin Yao on Leshrac and began rotating after the laning stage concluded.

With Nisha leading the charge, Team Liquid quickly gained control of the map and amassed an impressive 10,000 gold lead in 20 minutes. Nisha was cutting every enemy on Secret down with impunity.

The person who suffered the most was Nisha's old captain Puppey, who died 10 times to Timbersaw. The constant deaths prevented Secret's captain from impacting the game.

Timbersaw is known as a hard hero to kill and Nisha's final score of 26-3-25 was proof of that. When asked if he was being strategic in his dives, Nisha shared that he got lucky and focused on copying his idols for the hero.

"I'm just smashing buttons and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I watch Ammar, Malr1ne replays so it kinda worked out."

In game one of the series, Neta "33" Shapira went for a risky contest as Team Secret was taking down Roshan. Team Liquid was hesitant to follow 33 and Nisha stated he was wary of following him in that situation.

"Because it either works or it doesn't. Because if he gets Black Holed there, I'm not going in, I'm scared. If he goes through, then I'll wait five seconds and then I can go in."

Nisha was clear that his reaction in that situation may not have been the best, but his play style in general is more cautious and calculated. His wording for that specific play was fascinating to hear.

"I mean I was playing like a bitch, even as Timber I play in the backline."

Playing in the back line ended up being just what Team Liquid needed to close out the series. Their next opponent will be Gaimin Gladiators in the first round of the Upper Bracket Quarter Finals.
