You can use your accumulator calculator to quickly and easily calculate the odds for your acca or parlay bet. All you need to do is follow the simple instructions in our guide below.

For those of you who are new to the concept, an accumulator bet is pretty much the same as a parlay. It combines multiple wagers into a single wager so that you can add the odds together to get a larger potential payout. However, all of your selections need to win for your acca bet to win.

How to use our accumulator betting calculator

The acca calculator is probably the easiest of all our betting calculators to use. All that you need to do is choose your odds type (American, decimal, or fractional), the number of selections in your accumulator, and then enter your stake.

After that, you just need to enter the odds for each of your selections and the accumulator calculator will do the math for you automatically. As is the case when you use our parlay calculator, you will get three outcomes from this calculator; your payout, profit and implied probability.

Inputs

Here is a bit more information about the inputs that you need to enter to use this calculator:

  • Odds Type - First of all, you need to select the odds format that you prefer to use. Our calculator will set it to American odds format automatically, but you can change it to decimal or fractional if you so wish.
  • Number of Selections - Now, you can enter the number of selections that your accumulator bet has. For example, for a four-fold acca, you would select four selections.
  • Bet Amount - Enter the amount of money that you would like to stake on the acca ($10, $20, etc.)
  • Odds - The next step is to enter the odds for each legal of your accumulator bet in the format that you have chosen. You will need to enter the correct odds for all selections to get an accurate result.

Outputs

Once you’ve entered all of the above inputs correctly, here are the outputs that our acca calculator will give you:

  • Payout - The total amount of money that you would stand to get back if all of your accumulator bet selections were to be correct (bet amount + profit).
  • Profit - The amount of your total payout that would be profit if you were to win (payout - bet amount).
  • Implied Probability - This shows the chances of all your outcomes combined actually winning as a percentage.

Accumulator betting explained

An accumulator bet involves combining multiple bets into the same wager and therefore multiplying the odds together. For your acca bet to win, all of the selections need to be correct, which is why the implied probability figure is so low in the above acca calculator example.

What’s the difference between an acca bet and a parlay?

Effectively, an accumulator bet and a parlay are the same thing. However, the term “accumulator” tends to be favored in the UK, meanwhile the term “parlay” is more commonly used here in the US.

Basically, any bet that has two or more selections can be considered an accumulator or a parlay. Therefore, doubles, trebles, and four-folds all fall under the “accumulator” umbrella.

Why this online accumulator calculator is useful

Still wondering why this accumulator calculator is useful? Here are our five main reasons why you should make use of this online betting tool today:

  1. It does the complex math for you - Working out the payout for an accumulator bet on your own is almost impossible if you’re not a professional mathematician. Not only does this calculator multiply the odds for you, but it also gives you the payout and implied probability conversion instantly.
  2. It helps you figure out how much to bet - The figures that this calculator provides can help you decide how much to bet, or if it’s worth backing the bet at all. For example, if the implied probability is very low, then a smaller bet amount is better. On the other hand, you might want to put a bit more out if the probability is higher.
  3. You can play around with the number of selections - This accumulator calculator is pretty flexible and allows you to play around with the number of selections. Therefore, you can decide if it’s really worth adding that extra line that might make your acca go bust.
  4. You can use it to compare your acca with multiple sportsbooks - When placing a single wager, we always advise using an odds comparison to find the sportsbook with the best price. That can be a bit tougher with an acca bet as you need to compare multiple odds combined to find the best value, which is where our acca calculator can help.
  5. You can use it in combination with our other calculators - If you like, you can use this calculator in combination with one of our other betting calculators here at Strafe. For example, you might want to use the hedge bet calculator if you want to hedge all selections on your acca.

What other betting calculators are available?

The accumulator calculator isn’t the only helpful tool that we have available to you here at Strafe. All told we have 18 betting calculators for you to use, including the Kelly Criterion betting calculator and much more.

Accumulator calculator FAQ

❓ How is an accumulator bet calculated?

An accumulator bet is calculated by multiplying the odds of all your selections together to the combined odds. Your stake is then multiplied by the combined odds to get your potential payout and profit. Naturally, this is quite hard to do on your own, which is why we recommend using the accumulator return calculator here at Strafe.

⚡ Is a Lucky 15 better than an accumulator?

A Lucky 15 isn’t necessarily better than an acca, but it is different and gives you a couple of extra advantages. For starters, you can still win some money with a Lucky 15 if up to three or four of your selections lose. However, with a regular accumulator bet, all selections must be correct.

📌 What is an accumulator bet?

An accumulator bet, sometimes referred to as an “acca” or “parlay” in North America is a type of bet that combines two or more selections into one wager. In order for it to win, all of your selections must be correct; even one of them losing will bust your acca and you won’t receive a payout.

🚀 What is the difference between an accumulator and a four-fold?

There technically is no difference, as a four-fold is a type of accumulator with four selections. Four-selecti0n accumulators are common and very popular among bettors, which is why they have a specific name. Additionally, you also get doubles and triples.
