In a significant move in competitive Counter-Strike, Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen has officially joined the Falcons roster. This reunites him with former teammate Magisk and former coach zonic, marking a new chapter for the Danish player.

The seasoned 31-year-old player comes on board to fill the void left by the departure of Mohammad "BOROS" Malhas, who was recently benched.

The decision to bench BOROS came in the aftermath of Falcons' failed qualification bid for the Major. Following this, the organization secured the services of Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev from Natus Vincere on a short-term loan for the BLAST Premier Spring Showdown. However, this arrangement was not extended beyond its initial term, which ended on March 19.

Recent Stint and Reunion of Old Friends

Prior to joining Falcons, dupreeh was part of Preasy, a team he joined in late 2023 with the goal of qualifying for PGL Major Copenhagen. Unfortunately, Preasy fell short of this objective, experiencing setbacks in the Europe RMR and ultimately finishing with a 1-3 record after losses to HEROIC, OG, and Guild Eagles.

Dupreeh's move to Falcons brings him back into the fold with ex-teammates Emil "Magisk" Reif and Danny "zonic" Sørensen. Together, they formed a formidable trio and achieved numerous successes, including multiple Major victories during their time with Astralis and Vitality. Their reunion not only holds promise for Falcons but also evokes memories of their past glories.

Upcoming Challenges and ESL Pro League Season 19

Falcons' next challenge awaits them in ESL Pro League Season 19, scheduled from April 23 to May 12. Placed in Group B alongside formidable opponents like G2 and Vitality, Falcons, led by their Danish trio, will face an early test against their former team, Vitality.

Stay tuned for information on ESL Pro League Season 19.

Current Falcons Roster

The Falcons roster now comprises:

Danny "zonic" Sørensen will continue to serve as the team's coach, bringing his wealth of experience and tactical acumen to guide the squad.

Benched Players:

Currently, the benched players for Falcons include:

  • Mohammad "BOROS" Malhas
  • Miłosz "mhL" Knasiak
  • Laurențiu "lauNX" Țârlea
  • and Nathan "NBK-" Schmitt.

By solidifying their roster with dupreeh's addition, Falcons aim to embark on an ambitious journey in the competitive CS2 scene, building upon the legacy and accomplishments of their players and coach.
