Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev believes his BC.Game teammate Azbayar "Senzu" Munkhbold has the potential to become the next Danil "donk" Kryshkovets, or even surpass the Team Spirit star. The Ukrainian made the comparison in comments published by Chinese outlet 5EPlay on Saturday, November 7, while discussing the young Counter-Strike 2 player's future.

What s1mple Said About Senzu and donk

s1mple sees enormous potential in Senzu, but believes the Mongolian's development will depend on how hard he practices and whether he continues learning from his mistakes. The AWPer also praised the 20-year-old's exceptional aim. The two became teammates in 2026.

"Senzu has a chance to become the next donk, or even surpass him. The important thing is that he doesn't get complacent, keeps practicing, and works on his mistakes. He's probably the teammate with the best aim I've played with in the last five years."

It's a notable comparison given what both players have achieved in recent years. donk was named HLTV's No. 1 player of 2024 after a remarkable breakthrough season at the highest level, during which he delivered consistently dominant individual performances. He followed that up with another top finish in 2025, placing second in the annual rankings.

Senzu has already established himself among the world's best players, too. The Mongolian finished 13th in HLTV's Top 20 Players of 2025, following an impressive year with The MongolZ. During that run, the team reached the BLAST.tv Austin Major final and won the Esports World Cup.

Still, there's a significant gap between their achievements so far. donk has already topped HLTV's annual rankings and won a Major, milestones Senzu has yet to reach.

Senzu's New Chapter With BC.Game

After making a name for himself internationally with The MongolZ, Senzu went through several changes in his career. He was moved to the Mongolian organization's bench in October 2025 and later spent time on loan with Passion UA in 2026.

He initially joined BC.Game on loan in April, but his first stint was brief, with the team failing to win a match in either of the two tournaments it competed in. After that arrangement ended in June, BC.Game announced his permanent signing on June 23, 2026.

Senzu now shares a roster with s1mple, one of the most decorated players in Counter-Strike history. Their time together also gives the Ukrainian a firsthand perspective on his teammate's abilities, particularly the raw aiming talent he praised.

BC.Game's next opportunity to test its progress against international competition will come at the PGL Major Singapore 2026. The team has qualified for Stage 1 of the tournament, which is scheduled to begin on November 24.

s1mple Also Backs Himself to Return to the Top 20 in 2027

Beyond his praise for Senzu, s1mple also discussed his own competitive ambitions. The 29-year-old Ukrainian believes he can return to HLTV's list of the world's 20 best players in 2027.

"I can make the top 20 next year without any problems. I know exactly how I need to play, but right now it all depends on the team's chemistry and how well we work together."

s1mple last appeared in HLTV's annual rankings in 2023, when he finished seventh. At the time, he was still playing for Natus Vincere, the organization where he won many of the biggest trophies of his career.

The Ukrainian has finished as the world's No. 1 player three times, in 2018, 2021, and 2022. A return to the top 20 would mark his first appearance on the list since he began playing more regularly outside Natus Vincere.

Before turning his attention to 2027, however, s1mple and Senzu have the Singapore Major ahead of them. BC.Game will begin its campaign in Stage 1, while donk's Team Spirit has already secured a direct spot in Stage 3.
