Karmine Corp bid farewell to Vatira, Atow and juicy as rebuild takes form

Karmine Corp have bid farewell to Axel “Vatira” Touret, Tristan “Atow” Soyez and Charles “juicy” Sabiani, ending the partnership that won the 2026 RLCS Paris Major. The organization is now expected to rebuild around two-time world champion Evan “M0nkey M00n” Rogez and teenagers bibbaba and reyyn, although those signings remain unannounced.

The departures remove all three players who represented KC during the 2026 season. Together, they won the RLCS Kick-Off Weekend and Paris Major before reaching the World Championship semifinals in September.

Vatira and Atow are expected to continue together alongside Alexis “zen” Bernier at Gentle Mates. Juicy has been linked with Geekay Esports, where he would join Seikoo and mtzr. Those destinations should still be treated as reported moves rather than completed transfers.

KC’s reported replacement roster

Multiple sources report that Karmine Corp intend to sign M0nkey M00n alongside Hungarian player Attila “bibbaba” Eötvös and French player reyyn. Both younger players were reported to be 16 at the time of the negotiations.

M0nkey M00n would return to European competition after a season with Twisted Minds in MENA. His team reached the Paris Major final in May, where Karmine Corp defeated them 4-1.

His record gives the proposed roster a different starting point. M0nkey M00n won the RLCS World Championship with Team BDS in 2022 and 2024, and reached the final in 2023. Bibbaba and reyyn would join him with far fewer results at that level.

Bibbaba reached the top six of the European Last Chance Qualifier for the 2026 World Championship. Reyyn is better known for 1v1 competition, while his proposed KC signing would place him in a roster preparing for the next international 3v3 season.

The reported lineup would also change KC’s approach to recruitment. Atow arrived after a World Championship semifinal with Team Liquid, while juicy joined as a Copenhagen Major winner. The new proposal pairs a world champion with two players still establishing their records in team competition.

Extra could stay as coach

Alexandre “Extra” Paoli is expected to retain his position as head coach. Sources report that he discussed a move with Gentle Mates before choosing to stay with Karmine Corp. His continuation has not been officially confirmed.

That arrangement would reunite Extra with M0nkey M00n, his former Team BDS teammate. They won the 2021 Fall Major together, and Extra later became KC’s head coach for the 2026 season.

Extra won his first Major as a coach in Paris. BLAST identified him as the first person to win an international RLCS Major as both a player and coach.

Victor “Ferra” Francal, who had moved into a coaching supervision position, announced his departure on October 25. He said his contract was ending and that he and the organization had agreed against continuing their partnership.

Vatira’s four Major victories

Vatira joined Karmine Corp in October 2022 after winning the Spring Major with Moist Esports earlier that year. He won three more Majors under KC, beginning with the 2023 Winter Major alongside itachi and ExoTiiK.

Birmingham followed in 2025, with Atow and dralii completing the roster. KC swept The Ultimates 4-0 in that final, then added the Paris title with juicy in 2026.

Vatira also received tournament MVP awards at the 2023 Winter Major and 2026 Paris Major. His four Major victories are separate from the Kick-Off Weekend title, which should not be counted as a fifth Major.

Atow’s titles across two formats

Atow joined Karmine Corp in December 2023 after reaching the World Championship semifinals with Team Liquid. His first international RLCS Major victory came at Birmingham in March 2025.

He added Paris in May 2026, then won the inaugural RLCS 2v2 World Championship alongside zen in September. The 2v2 title is a separate competition from the 3v3 World Championship won by Team Falcons.

That distinction matters when comparing the departing players. Atow has a world title in doubles, while none of the three has won the RLCS 3v3 World Championship.

Juicy’s wins with two organizations

Juicy won his first Major with Gentle Mates in Copenhagen in 2024. The roster defeated Karmine Corp 4-3 in the semifinals and G2 4-2 in the final, and juicy received the tournament MVP award.

He joined KC in October 2025 after dralii’s departure for Team Falcons. The Kick-Off Weekend victory followed in December, before Paris gave him a second Major title with a second organization.

The trio’s final World Championship appearance ended with a 4-2 semifinal defeat to Falcons on September 20. KC finished joint third-fourth alongside FUT Esports.

Where the players could go

The reported Gentle Mates project would preserve the Vatira-Atow partnership and add zen. Sources report an agreement on salary and conditions in early October, but negotiations over the players’ existing contracts were still unresolved at that stage.

Juicy’s reported destination would reunite him with Seikoo, his teammate during Gentle Mates’ Copenhagen victory. Geekay intend to retain mtzr, which would leave no place for M0nkey M00n in the earlier proposed lineup involving Seikoo and juicy.

For KC, the next scheduled international event is the RLCS Club Championship Kick-Off in London on December 9-13. Twenty invited clubs and four qualified teams will compete at the event, before regional league play determines qualification for the 2027 Club Finale.
