IEM Dallas returns, once again as part of the DreamHack festival experience! The home of North American Counter-Strike will see the top teams compete in the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center to be crowned as the champions of the 100th IEM event.

MOUZ, who recently sat on top of the mountain as the best team in the world, will aim towards a third consecutive trophy lift. On the other hand, FaZe Clan, Team Vitality and NA'VI will also be trying for a podium finish after recent turn of events.

The event will kick-off from the 27th of May until the 2nd of June, promising a shot of pure CS2 dopamine from the land of liberty.

Attending teams

A total of sixteen teams will battle in the event. And while most of the teams are ESL partnered, others have made it through ESL Ranking and different regional qualifiers - European, North American, Oceanic and South American.

M80 were invited as a Local Hero. The 'Local Hero' invite is given out by ESL to the highest-ranking team with a roster that is currently fielding a majority of players from the country where the event is to be held.

How to watch IEM Dallas 2024

You can catch all the incredible moments and cheer for your favorite teams live on the ESL Twitch channel. Also, the earlier stages of the tournament will also include a B stream, with two simultaneous matches being played during the Group Stage.

In addition, several popular streamers, including ohnepixel, fl0m and Gaules will also be co-streaming the event on their Twitch channels so that you can enjoy both the games and live reactions from the streamers.

The first series of the Group Stage will start at 4:30PM CET (10:30AM EST), so be sure to catch the action as it unfolds live from Dallas.

Format and Prize Pool Distribution

The tournament will follow two double-elimination format groups (GSL) with each group having eight teams. The teams will play the opening matches as BO1s, and they will play all following matches as BO3s.

The top three teams from each group will advance to the Playoffs and the Group Stage winners will advance straight to the Semi-Finals while the runner-ups and third placed teams will qualify to the Quarter-Finals as high and low seeds respectively.

The Playoffs follows a single elimination bracket format, with all series played as BO3s.

Prize Pool

The total prize pool is $250,000, with most of it going to the Champion in addition to a ticket to IEM Cologne 2024. In short, the winnings are spread among the rest of the participants as seen below:

Scores, Brackets, Results

The brackets promise electrifying matches from the get go. Initially, G2 Esports will clash against The Falcons in the opening match of Group A. While Heroic locks horns with Virtus.Pro as the Group B highlight match.
