Due to an ongoing exploit on Split, VALORANT has decided to temporarily remove Split until Patch 8.08.

Recently, there are two major bugs affecting the game. First involves the agent Cypher, where the Tripwires are visible on the teammates’ minimap even after the agent’s death.

The bug doesn’t majorly affect or break the game hence they have decided to keep Cypher.

The other bug involves an exploit on Split, where players can jump on the Cafe Wall on A site. The exploit gives the defending side an unfair advantage and thus affects the competitive integrity of the game.

As a result VALORANT has decided to temporarily disable Split. They will remove map from the  Competitive, Unrated, Premier, Swiftplay, and Spike Rush map pools.

Since the Premier map of the week was Split, it will be replaced with Ascent. The map will also be removed from Premier Playoffs pick and ban.

VALORANT will ship the fix for both the bugs with the upcoming patch 8.08. The patch also introduces a new bundle and a new Episode 8 Act III and goes live 30th April 2024.
