Core lanes such as Offlane, Mid Lane and Safe Lane are the most sought-after roles in Dota 2. Fans often keep a close eye on players in these roles, as they are also often the victims of criticism in case of a misplay. Nevertheless, some players can step up their game under scrutiny. With the BetBoom Dacha on the horizon, all the eyes are on the following players.

Pakaz (Evil Geniuses)

Crhistian "Pakazs" Savina is one of the upcoming players from the South American region. He helped his former team, Thunder Awaken, secure top-seed finishes in their region in the 2021-2022 DPC Season. The player also broke new ground for the SA region with Thunder Awaken at The Internationals 2022.

In the 2022-2023 DPC Season, with Evil Geniuses, he continues to dominate the SA region. With one of his signature heroes, Gyrocopter, being the meta pick right now, it will be exciting to see how he will play the hero to reach new heights.

Kiyotaka (9 Pandas)

Formerly known by his alternate alias, depressed kid, Gleb "kiyotaka" Zyryanov is becoming a darling in the ranks of the Eastern European Dota 2 scene. He is often known to have a greedier playstyle compared to other midlaners. However, his playstyle in midlane enables the other cores to come online quickly while also soaking the farm for himself. Moreover, his skills on midlane Tinker made him a favourite to many fans. He helped 9 Pandaz secure multiple top finishes in the region and LANS. Invoker, one of the signature heroes of the player, is also a meta pick right now.

Sumail (Team Secret)

The International 2015 Champion, Sumail "SumaiL" Hassan, will be a standin’ for Team Secret at the tournament. He played a pivotal part in Team Aster’s success in the later stages of The DPC 2022-2023 Season. However, they failed to make it past the TI qualifiers. Sumail often dominates his lane. Moreover, he is a consistent player, meaning he can lead his team to victory if they play around him.

Dyrachyo (Gaimin Gladiators)

Gaimin Gladiators dominated the 2022-2023 DPC Season. One of their core players, Anton "dyrachyo" Shkredov, is who you have to keep an eye on. He always plays aggressively, putting the enemy in constant discomfort. His farming pattern and in-game sense are impeccable, making him one of the unpredictable safelaners. Although he has a versatile hero pool for his role, he often plays his signature hero, Terrorblade.

Ace (Gaimin Gladiators)

Marcus "Ace" Christensen played a massive part in Gaimin Gladiators’ success for the 2022-2023 DPC Season. Playing offlane, Ace shuts down most opposing safelaners during the laning stage. He initiates the team fights wisely. He can always step up his game when his team needs him.

BetBoom Dacha, featuring a 250 000 USD prize pool, will begin on 10th September.
