Old G, the team made up of former two times back to back champions, has finally qualified for the Division II of Western Europe Dota Pro Circuit. After tearing down every team in the open qualifiers, Old G triumphs at the closed qualifier. They become the first to qualify for the Division II WEU DPC Spring Tour.

Mistakes, Lessons Learned

The team also tried their luck back at the Winter Tour. However, they found their match before they could secure a seat in  Division II. It was also a different roster that consisted of Johan “N0tail” Sundstein and Arif 'MSS' Anwar. After their first run, N0tail stepped down from his role, but Ceb continued to give it another try.

This time, with the new roster consisting of Team Secret’s former offlaner and T1 former analyst, the pathway to the Division II seat was smooth for Old G. The only team that caused some issues for them was PuckChamp, but Old G prevailed over them. Old G also styled their ticket to Division II with a peculiar Dazzle mid in game 1 and a midlane Oracle pick in game 2.

Words of the French

Old G received some backlash from the fans with their recent roster change. The legendary french offlaner, however, is confident in his team. He confronted:

"How long is it gonna take people to learn and trust us?"

Now with the team qualifying for Division II, fans are in for a treat. It is without a doubt that Old G will breeze through Division II, Team Secret is the only team that poses a threat to them. Although Team Secret might be able to take down the team, it is important to note that two teams will always get promoted to Division I. It could be Team Secret and Old G getting promoted to Division I
