At The International 13, Valve released a trailer for their newest hero. Kez, head of the Kazurai order, leader of the flightless, and Dota 2's newest playable character.

The new hero was introduced with a trailer that offered a brief glimpse at what we can expect from him. Valve hasn't revealed much so far but there are clues in the hero's introduction.

Everything we know about Kez

The next Dota 2 hero already has a release date. The conclusion of Crownfall act 4 will bring the story of Skywrath Mage and Vengeful Spirit to a close. Among the champions who gathered for the final showdown, Kez will join as the leader of the flightless.

While Valve hasn't released gameplay footage of the hero, the trailer does showcase a little of Kez' capabilities. Since he is a bird samurai, it's likely he will be a melee strength hero with mobility spells.

Considering he is a bird, we also predict he will have a flying ability, similar to Batrider's Firefly and Phoenix' Sun ray. Although Kez doesn't actually fly in the trailer, so he might have a different mobility spell.

Lastly, while Valve mentioned Crownfall Act 4 in the video, it didn't mention specifically when Kez will arrive. He might turn up at the start of the event or when it concludes.

We look forward to another Dota 2 hero. Ringmaster was a fun addition with plenty of fresh ideas, and it'll be interesting to see what new mechanics Kez brings to the table.
