Team Falcons took down BetBoom Team in the grand final of DreamLeague Season 22. The series only lasted three games, with the Falcons taking it in a clean sweep.

This is Falcon's second lan victory of the year, as they also won BetBoom Dacha Dubai in February, cementing their status as the best team in Dota 2 right now.

Falcon's record in the tournament is frankly astonishing. They won or drew in every series of the first group stage and took first place in their bracket.

In the second group stage, the Falcons won every series, only dropping a single game against Aurora for an impressive 14-1 score.

The team continued their winning streak by beating BetBoom twice to secure their trophy. It was a nine-series win streak with only two games dropped in total.

Analyst Ben "Noxville" Steenhuisen has highlighted this achievement, noting that Falcons have the highest glicko rating ever achieved in Dota 2.

The team could do no wrong, even turning obvious mistakes into surprising comebacks thanks to their impressive mechanical abilities.

What's coming next?

DreamLeague season 22 is over but there is plenty of Dota 2 action coming in the next few weeks.

The qualifiers and main event of Elite League will be starting on March 11th. It will feature seven regions competing in a two-week tournament for a million-dollar prize pool.

ESL will be hosting two events in April and May, the first being ESL Birmingham followed by the flagship DreamLeague season 23 in May.

We expect to see the next patch fairly soon and that it will be a big one. ESL hinted that the next Dota 2 update will be the "Crownfall" patch, which will likely include massive balance changes, the new Ringmaster hero, and potential Arcana's for Venge and Skywrath mage.

In short, there's a lot of good stuff coming to Dota 2 soon and we can't wait for it.
