Team Secret had a major awakening during the 2022-2023 DPC Winter Tour. The team placed the runner-up at The International 2022 but the Winter Tour had not been kind to them.

The team managed to secure the runner-up spot at The International 2022 but they struggled to find wins in their Winter Tour run. They had 6 loss(es) in their Division I  run and it was the team’s resilient rival Nigma Galaxy that landed the knockout punch for Team Secret sending them to Division II for the Spring Tour.

Future in question

After the Winter Tour had concluded, multiple rumours stated that Team Secret are looking to rebuild the team. The first rumour came from a Russian Outlet stating that Roman “RAMZES666” Kushnarev and Team Secret are in talks for him to play as the new hard carry (position 1) on the team.

Although it doesn't seem much at the time of rumour, in the days that follow, Ramzes announced that he had left Darkside, thus making the rumour of him joining the team possible.

The second rumour is that Team Secret has been eying Stanislav "Malr1ne '' Potorak from Nemiga Gaming, as a replacement for their new midlaner.

In recent days, Team Secret’s offlaner Roman “Resolut1on” Fominok stated in a Twitch chat “resol free agent”, a Reddit user reshared it on the platform catching the eye of the community. Although no confirmation was given by the team nor the player regarding the statement.

A brief history

Resolt1on joined Team Secret back in August 2022 and the team showed major improvements. He also stated the reason he joined Team Secret was that he wanted to play with Baqyt "Zayac" Emiljanov. So it will be interesting to see whether Zayac will follow if Resol and Team Secret part ways. The roster reset could either be dawn or dusk for Team Secret.
