The 2026 LCS Summer Split has kicked off with teams vying for a spot at Worlds. Now, to add to the excitement, the first LCS Roadshow has been announced, with LYON hosting some of the best teams in the league on home turf: Mexico City.

LCS Homegrounds: Mexico City Showdown

After their remarkable showing at MSI 2026, what better team than LYON to host the first LCS Homegrounds event

During Week 6 of the LCS 2026 Summer Regular Season, LYON will receive Cloud9, Team Liquid, and Shopify Rebellion. The event will run on August 29-30, and will take place at the Arena Esports Stadium at CINEMEX Artz Pedregal in Mexico City — the very same venue that hosted the Play-In Stage of Worlds 2022.

It's worth noting that the sixth week of the Regular Season will also be the last, upping the stakes for these roadshow matches as final placing in the standings are potentially in contention.

Keep in mind the LCS Homegrounds: Mexico City Showdown is not only a unique opportunity for fans outside the US to catch the LCS live, but also an exciting initiative for the future of the league as a whole.

Tickets for the event will go on sale at a later date, so make sure to keep an eye out on LYON's social media channels for further information!
