The CBLOL has confirmed its two representatives for Worlds 2026 following the Split 2 playoffs. Brazil will send one team directly to the Swiss Stage, while the other will begin its run in the Play-In Stage of the League of Legends World Championship.
Both berths went to the tournament finalists, but the seeding order was not decided until the Grand Final in Rio de Janeiro. The result also created an unusual situation for the Brazilian champion, which had to play another final just two days later, this time with its place in the CBLOL for 2027 on the line.
Which CBLOL Teams Are at Worlds 2026?
The two CBLOL teams that qualified for Worlds 2026 are LOS and FURIA. LOS enters as Brazil's first seed, while FURIA claimed the region's second spot.
| Team | Seed | Roster: Top / Jungle / Mid / ADC / Support |
|---|---|---|
| LOS | 1 | ZEST / Curse / Feisty / Duduhh / Ackerman |
| FURIA | 2 | GUIGO / Tatu / Tutsz / Ayu / Jojo |
With both berths decided, the CBLOL lineup is complete on the list of all teams qualified for Worlds 2026.
How Did the CBLOL Teams Qualify for Worlds 2026?
Brazil's two Worlds 2026 spots were decided through the CBLOL Split 2 playoffs. Both finalists qualified for the World Championship, while the Grand Final determined which team would take the first seed and advance directly to the Swiss Stage.
The runner-up received the second seed and must compete in the Play-In Stage, where four teams enter a double-elimination bracket with only one place in the Swiss Stage available.
Seed 1: LOS
LOS finished the Split 2 regular season with a 6-1 record, tied with LOUD at the top of the standings. In the playoffs, the Orange Wave opened its run with a 3-1 victory over FURIA to advance to the upper-bracket final.
LOUD was waiting in the next round. LOS took a 2-0 lead before its opponent fought back to tie the series, but the team won the deciding fifth game to close out a 3-2 victory. The result secured Brazil's first berth at Worlds 2026 and sent LOS directly to the CBLOL Grand Final.
The championship match took place on October 10, again against FURIA. The teams traded wins through the first four games and pushed the series to a deciding fifth map. LOS built a lead of more than 10,000 gold in the final game and closed out the best-of-five 3-2.
With the victory, LOS won the CBLOL 2026 Split 2 title and secured Brazil's first seed, advancing directly to the Swiss Stage. Curse was named the Grand Final MVP.
LOS Had to Defend Its CBLOL 2027 Spot Two Days Later
Winning the Brazilian championship did not end LOS' domestic season. The organization entered the 2026 CBLOL as the league's Guest Team, a position that had to be defended through the Promotion Tournament regardless of its results in Tier 1.
That created an unusual situation. Even after winning the CBLOL and securing Brazil's first seed at Worlds, LOS could still have lost its place in the country's top league for 2027. The possibility had already drawn attention before the final, when LOS faced the possibility of reaching Worlds already relegated to Tier 2.
The issue was settled just two days after the title. On October 12, LOS returned for another best-of-five and defeated KaBuM! Ilha das Lendas 3-1 in the CBLOL 2027 Promotion Tournament Grand Final. The result secured LOS another season in Brazil's top division as the league's Guest Team.
Seed 2: FURIA
FURIA entered Split 2 as the reigning champion from the previous split, but its regular season began with consecutive 2-0 losses to LOS and Vivo Keyd Stars. The team recovered over the following weeks with wins over LOUD, Fluxo W7M, RED Canids, paiN Gaming and LEVIATÁN, finishing the regular season 5-2.
FURIA opened the playoffs with a 3-0 sweep of RED Canids, but a 3-1 loss to LOS in the following round sent the team into the lower bracket.
FURIA then faced RED again and won a five-game series 3-2. In the lower-bracket final, the team met LOUD with Brazil's final Worlds berth on the line.
The victory over LOUD secured FURIA the CBLOL's second Worlds 2026 berth and also sent the organization to the Split 2 Grand Final.
FURIA pushed LOS to a fifth game in the championship series but ultimately lost 3-2. The runner-up finish left the organization as Brazil's second seed and confirmed that its international campaign would begin in the Play-In Stage.
Which CBLOL Team Plays in the Worlds 2026 Play-In Stage?
FURIA is the only CBLOL representative that will begin Worlds 2026 in the Play-In Stage. As Brazil's second seed, the team must advance through the opening stage to join LOS in the Swiss Stage.
FURIA opens against MVK Esports, the LCP's third seed, on October 15. Karmine Corp and Cloud9 will play the other opening series.
The Play-In Stage uses a double-elimination format, with every series played as a best-of-five. Only one of the four teams will advance to complete the 16-team Swiss Stage field.
When Do the CBLOL Teams Start at Worlds 2026?
FURIA will be the first Brazilian representative in action at Worlds 2026. The team faces MVK Esports on October 15 at the Riot Games Arena in Los Angeles.
LOS will enter directly into the Swiss Stage on October 23 at the Credit Union of Texas Event Center in Allen, Texas.
The Swiss Stage runs from October 23 to 31. The Knockout Stage will take place from November 3 to 8, also in Allen, before the Grand Final on November 14 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. See the Worlds 2026 broadcast start times for every region.
