LOS Secures CBLOL's First Worlds 2026 Spot

LOS is the first team from the CBLOL 2026 to qualify for Worlds 2026. The Orange Wave defeated LOUD on Sunday (September 27) in the Upper Bracket Final, booking its place in the Grand Final and securing one of Brazil’s two spots at the World Championship.
LOS is also the first team to reach the CBLOL final. The championship match will take place on October 10 in Rio de Janeiro and will determine Brazil’s seeds for Worlds.
LOS Reaches the Final After a Strong Campaign
The team put together a consistent campaign in the regular season, finishing with a 6-1 record, tied with LOUD. Both teams advanced directly to the second round of the playoffs.
In its first Upper Bracket match, LOS defeated FURIA 3-1 to set up the series against LOUD for the first spot in the final.
Sunday’s series was closely contested. LOS took a 2-0 lead, but LOUD fought back to tie it and force a fifth and final game. LOS dominated the decider to close out the series 3-2.
LOUD Gets Another Chance to Reach Worlds
LOUD will have another chance to make the final next Saturday (October 3), when it faces FURIA in the Lower Bracket Final. The winner will play LOS in the CBLOL Grand Final and secure Brazil’s second spot at Worlds 2026.
Worlds 2026 begins on October 15 in the United States. The CBLOL’s second seed will have to compete in the Play-In Stage, where four teams will battle for one spot in the Swiss Stage. Brazil’s first seed will advance directly to the main stage of the World Championship.
