It’s been over a week since Valve released Muerta, along with patch 7.32 e. Even though it was a small patch, some significant changes are happening in the highest tier of Dota. Players are now figuring out the meta, trying new heroes and experimenting with different ways to play Muerta.

Several old heroes are also making a comeback into the meta.

The Dead Mexican Senorita

Firstly, addressing the Dead Mexican Senorita, Muerta has found her place in the current meta. Currently, the hero has a pick rate of 22.99% in low-level pubs with a win rate of 45.92%. In high-level pubs, the hero pick rate increased to 27.32%, and her win rate increased to 48,39%.

However, like the way it is with every new hero, Muerta cannot be picked in captain’s mode and tournaments just yet. But, Topias "Topson" Taavitsainen is also spamming the hero in his pubs, and he is climbing with it. Niklas "Wagamama" Högström is proving how broken the new hero is in the right hands on his streams. Currently, in pubs, Muerta provides a good synergy with old heroes has re-risen from the grave.

Addressing The Meta

Players are currently trying to figure out Abaddon as a core. The hero had seen his glory days as a support hero. But, in the recent patches, the hero was fallen out of meta.

Clinkz is another hero that is also making his comeback to the meta. In the previous metas, the hero was fallen off because, in the last meta, heroes that offered laning stability and fast farm were prioritised. Even though Clinkz is a hero that can farm fast, the hero isn’t a good laner. Medusa is also another hero that received buffs in the current meta. With Medusa in the meta, Anti-Mage will surely make a comeback alongside her.

As for the meta heroes of the previous patch, Lina received nerfs significantly. Nature’s Prophet also received nerfs to his Agility and Intelligence stats. Death Prophet’s Spirit Siphon ability has also been nerfed as well.

With Meteor Hammer receiving buffs, heroes like Outworld Destroyer and Invoker with a Quas Wex build are making a resurgence. Along with the Radiance buffs, both Alchemist and Abaddon will also be making a comeback to the meta. However, the current meta will only last a few weeks as Valve has announced patch 7.33 is coming in late April.
