VALORANT Kuronami 2.0 Bundle: Skins, Expected Price, Release Date, and More

VALORANT Kuronami 2.0 Bundle: Skins, Expected Price, Release Date, and More

Riot Games has teased the return of a much-loved VALORANT skin collection: Kuronami 2.0. The second set of skins from this collection will arrive in-game with patch 12.08, and we now have an early look at what to expect. Featuring a blade named Naru-Kami as its centerpiece melee weapon, the collection is also expected to include skins for four additional weapons.

More than two years after its debut, the original Kuronami collection remains a community favorite. Players still praise its lineup of popular weapons like Vandal, Sheriff, Marshal, and Spectre. It also had a one-of-a-kind melee and an interactive and immersive finisher. Now, Kuronami 2.0 is rumored to bring back the magic with skins for the Phantom and Operator, plus another striking melee weapon.

While some details have yet to be officially confirmed, we've compiled every piece of official and reported information about the Kuronami 2.0 bundle below.

Kuronami 2.0: Everything We Know So Far

VALORANT Kuronami Naru-Kami Melee Leak

So far, official information about the upcoming bundle remains scarce. However, several leaks have surfaced over the last few days, giving us some clarity on what to expect. According to these leaks, the bundle will feature the following skins:

  • Ghost

  • Phantom

  • Guardian

  • Operator

  • Naru-Kami Melee

There have been no official reveals or leaks regarding the skins' variants, but Riot typically maintains the original skin's color theme across an entire series. If that pattern holds here, the skins in the Kuronami 2.0 collection will feature three additional variants: Purple, White, and Black.

While the official teaser for the Kuronami 2.0 bundle only revealed the Naru-Kami melee's handle, a supposedly leaked clip online shows a weapon inspect animation in which the blade transforms into a kunai mid-animation. However, the handle shown in the official teaser looks different from the one in the leak, likely invalidating the latter's credibility. With only three days left until the bundle's official release, more information should emerge in the coming hours.

When Will Kuronami 2.0 Release?

The Kuronami 2.0 collection will be added with VALORANT Patch 12.08, on April 29, 2026. You can purchase the bundle or its individual items from the Featured section of the in-game store. It will likely expire after 2-3 weeks. After that, it will no longer be available in the Featured tab, and you must wait for the individual skins to appear in your rotating Offers section to purchase them.

Kuronami 2.0 Bundle Price Breakdown

With official pricing yet to be confirmed, we can only speculate based on the previous collection's costs. The original Kuronami bundle, released with Patch 8.0 in January 2024, cost 9,500 VP for the full bundle. Individual weapon skins were priced at 2,375 VP each, while the melee skin cost 5,350 VP. Skins within the same collection typically share the same pricing regardless of their release window, so we can expect the Kuronami 2.0 skins to match their predecessor's price points.

Kuronami 2.0 is also expected to include a gun buddy, player card, and spray, priced at 475 VP, 375 VP, and 325 VP, respectively. These items will be included at no additional cost for players who purchase the bundle.
