Now that Patch 7.41d has been out for a while, we have a better idea of which heroes were the most affected by the changes, either directly or in response to changes in other heroes.

We will focus on heroes that fell below the 50% win rate mark and suffered sharp declines in their win rate over the last week, so there might be other heroes that won't make it to the list despite still being somewhat viable.

Five Biggest Losers of Dota 2 Patch 7.41d

Broodmother

The Mother of Spiders got a small buff on Patch 7.41d, with her Spiderlings' HP increasing from 300 to 325, but this did not seem to make any positive difference to her win rate.

It's a shame considering that Broodmother was one of the heroes chosen to receive a new set on Quartero's Curios this season. She had a small 0.09% win rate increase across all brackets, but it's hard to recommend her considering the results in higher brackets.

Kez

We continue our list with Kez, who faced a sharp decline of 2.24% after already sitting at around a 46% win rate in the Immortal bracket. If we expand to all skill brackets, his decline was smaller, with a 0.5% loss.

Kez got three nerfs this time: one to his innate, reducing the Katana Bonus Agility Base Damage from 16% to 12%; his Kazurai Katana received a significant cooldown nerf on earlier levels; and Shodo Sai got both a cooldown increase and a reduction to Parry duration from 2s to 1.5s.

Kez continues to get nerfed despite falling way below 50% win rate.

Shadow Demon

This is a very unusual situation considering that Shadow Demon was apparently buffed during 7.41d but still suffered the highest decline among all heroes in the Immortal bracket over the last week, losing 4.78% win rate.

Similarly to Kez, he saw a smaller 0.40% loss across all brackets. Patch 7.41d reduced Shadow Poison's mana cost and increased the damage per additional stack over 5 stacks from 50 to 60, so this reaction is probably due to an indirect nerf caused by buffs to other heroes.

Warlock

Another support that followed the trend set by Shadow Demon and lost win rate despite receiving small buffs in Patch 7.41d. Warlock lost 2.41% win rate in the Immortal bracket and now sits at a 46.75% win rate.

His Upheaval was buffed, receiving a cooldown decrease on earlier levels from 60/50/40/30s to 45/40/35/30s, and one of his level 25 talents was improved, making Fatal Bonds target one additional enemy.

Weaver

Weaver also got a minor buff to her innate ability in Patch 7.41d. Threads of Fate now has a slow duration increased from 0.2s to 0.4s, but this did little to impact her win rate.

Over the last week, Weaver lost 1.24% win rate in the Immortal bracket despite already being below 50% before the new patch. If there are no new buffs before the EWC, you should avoid this pick.

Weaver is not a good pick, at least according to data.

(Dis)Honorable Mentions

Despite not appearing in the Patch 7.41d changelog, some heroes suffered sharp declines in their win rate. Centaur Warrunner, Sven, Oracle, Troll Warlord, Leshrac, Queen of Pain, Witch Doctor, and Lone Druid all saw win rate decreases of 2% or more over the last week.

Most of these heroes might still be situationally good, but if you're looking for a better experience, you should avoid them for the time being and focus on heroes featured in the Winners of Patch 7.41d.
