The International 12 has been over for months but the post-TI roster shuffle continues and the recent announcement may be the biggest one yet. After a six-month stint in China, Sumail "SumaiL" Hassan is back in Western Europe and rejoined his old team, Nigma Galaxy.

Nigma has announced that they will be doing a massive shake-up to their starting lineup, with four out of five former players leaving the team or taking a break. SumaiL is the first player to fill in one of the spots.

SumaiL and Nigma Galaxy didn't have a lot of success in the past

This reunion will be an interesting experiment for the two parties, as it wasn't a very successful marriage in the past. SumaiL joined Nigma Galaxy in May of 2022 and immediately his contribution was noticed, as Nigma climbed out of Divison II of the DPC and back into Division I.

Unfortunately, the honeymoon phase was short-lived, and Nigma failed to place anything higher than the top six in any subsequent tournament. The team couldn't qualify for The International 11 and even dropped out of Division I of the DPC.

The repeated failures of the squad resulted in the departure of their star mid-laner, leading to his first venture into a Chinese team. It was a similar story there as well, and six months later SumaiL was teamless again.

It'll be interesting to see how this homecoming will pan out. SumaiL and Nigma Galaxy haven't had much success in the last few years and it's questionable if this move will solve their issues.

Who will fill in the remaining slots in Nigma Galaxy?

Will Miracle- return?
Nigma has a lot of holes on the team they need to fill.

Since there are still three roles to fulfill for the team, we will go into speculation territory and guess who the remaining players are.

It seems likely that Amer "Miracle-" Al-Barkawi will return as the carry role. He has been a member of the team since its inception, and Nigma didn't announce his departure with the rest of the squad. So we'll put our money on Miracle taking back his old position one role.

For the offlane role, there isn't any massively big name that isn't on a team already. Nigma might pick a player from SEA such as Daryl "iceiceice" Koh or Nikko "Force" Bilocura but it's anyone's guess who they want.

For the roaming support, the team's best bet is Yazied "YapzOr" Jaradat, if he decides to return to the competitive scene and leaves Team Secret. During the recent Pinnacle Cup, we also saw the rise of Edgar "9Class" Naltakyan as an incredible playmaking support.

Nigma will likely announce the details of their entire roster within the next few days, so keep your eyes peeled and be sure to check Strafe Esports for more updates.
