The BLAST Rainbow Six Siege 2025 Season is coming hot in its ambition to redefine the competitive landscape, introducing a streamlined schedule, innovative formats, and a clear path to Major events. With Ubisoft and BLAST working together to create a more dynamic and sustainable ecosystem, this season promises to be the most exciting yet for players, teams, and fans alike.

Here’s a detailed look at everything you need to know about the Rainbow Six Siege 2025 Season, from the new calendar to the revamped tournament structures and the road to the Majors.

Rainbow Six Siege 2025 Season Schedule

The 2025 competitive calendar has been meticulously crafted to provide clear progression, meaningful breaks, and more opportunities for established organizations and up-and-coming talent. Here’s how the year unfolds:

  • March–April: The season begins with the Challenger Series, spotlighting Tier 2 and grassroots teams. This phase offers open qualifiers, group stages, and playoffs, giving emerging squads a chance to earn their place in the Regional Leagues.
  • May: The action ramps up with RE:LO:AD, the new LAN kickoff event in Brazil, featuring the world’s top teams in a high-stakes, innovative tournament.
  • June–July: Regional Leagues Stage 1 take center stage, where the best teams in each region battle through group play and playoffs.
  • August: A scheduled break allows for third-party competitions, giving players time to recharge and fans a chance to enjoy community-driven events.
  • September–October: Regional Leagues Stage 2 resumes, building momentum toward the season’s global showdowns.
  • November: The Rainbow Six Major gathers the top squads from around the world for a premier event with international prestige.
  • December: Regional Finals crown the best teams in each league, while the Six Invitational Last Chance Qualifiers offer one final opportunity for teams to secure their spot at the world championship.
  • February (2026): The Six Invitational, the pinnacle of Rainbow Six Siege esports, takes place in France, where the World Champions will be crowned.

This structure ensures a competitive flow throughout the year, balancing intense action with essential downtime for preparation and development.

Four Regional Leagues

The Rainbow Six Siege 2025 Season consolidates the previous nine regional leagues into four powerful regions, each featuring a mix of partner, affiliate, and promoted teams:

  • EML (Europe, MENA & Turkey): Uniting powerhouse organizations and rising stars from across Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, and Turkey.
  • SAL (South America League): Combining Brazil and South Latin America, this region is home to some of the game’s most passionate fans and dominant teams.
  • NAL (North America League): Covering North America, Central America, Ecuador, and Colombia, this league boasts storied franchises and fresh contenders.
  • APL (Asia Pacific League): Featuring APAC North (Korea & Japan), Asia (Southeast and South Asia), and Oceania (Australia, New Zealand, Polynesia), this league highlights the region’s diversity and depth.

Each league consists of 10 teams, competing in group stages followed by a six-team playoff bracket. Teams earn their spots through a combination of partnership (R6 Share), affiliate status, and Challenger Series promotion, ensuring a blend of experience and new talent.

RE:LO:AD 2025: Starting the Year in Brazil

RE:LO:AD, the season’s kickoff event in Rio de Janeiro, introduces a bold new tournament format built around “bullets and cards.” Twenty R6 Share partner teams compete for a €480,000 prize pool in a two-stage event:

  • Group Stage (May 10–14): Teams start with six bullets and wager them in best-of-one matches. Unique wildcards-such as Survivor, Flawless Victory, and Eliminator-add layers of strategy, while single-use cards like Chicken, Extended Mag, and Duel can dramatically alter a team’s fate.
  • Playoffs (May 16–18): The top eight teams advance to a traditional knockout bracket, culminating in a best-of-five Grand Final.

This format blends risk, strategy, and high-stakes competition, setting the tone for the rest of the season.

Road to Major Events

The journey to the season’s major events is more transparent and competitive than ever. Teams can qualify for the Six Invitational – the season’s ultimate prize – through several routes:

  • Major Champions: Winning the November Major grants direct qualification.
  • Regional Finals Winners: The best team in each regional league final secures a spot.
  • Last Chance Qualifiers: Teams that miss earlier opportunities can battle through the December–January qualifiers for a final shot.
  • SI Points: Consistent performance across Stage 1, Stage 2, the Major, and Regional Finals earns points, with the top teams securing their place at the Invitational.

This system rewards both peak performance and season-long consistency, ensuring that the world’s best teams reach the biggest stage.

R6 Share Program: Supporting Teams and the Ecosystem

The Rainbow Six Siege 2025 Season introduces a revamped R6 Share program limited to 20 partner organizations from around the world. This exclusive partnership provides teams with increased visibility and revenue opportunities, while strengthening the overall esports ecosystem.

Eighteen of the twenty partner teams have already been announced. These are:

Additionally, Cloud9 and LOUD have been confirmed as the final two partner teams, pending BLAST's official announcement. Notably absent are some historical Rainbow Six Siege organizations like Soniqs and Ninjas in Pyjamas, marking a significant shift in the competitive landscape.

Partner teams will receive two in-game bundle releases per year, expanded from the previous single annual release. These bundles will include new item categories, giving fans more ways to support their favorite teams while generating revenue for organizations.
