Nigma Galaxy has been having a disappointing season. Losing a crucial tiebreakers series against Entity, Nigma Galaxy got relegated for The Summer Tour. However, luck looks like it’s on Nigma Galaxy’s side, as they’ve got a last-minute invite to DreamLeague Season 19. Along with the invite, their star player, Amer “Miracle-” Al Bakawi, taking a break from the professional Dota 2 scene, will also stand in for the team.

Last Minute Ticket

As the DreamLeague Season 19 is on the horizon, one of its participating teams, PSG.LGD withdrew from the competition. Thus, Nigma Galaxy, despite getting relegated, received the invite to fill the slot left by PSG.LGD.

This sudden invite comes with pros and cons for the team as well. The team will now participate in a $ 1,000,000 USD prize pool tournament against the best teams in the world. This also means that the team will now also has to announce their roster changes earlier than they would like, likely giving away their intentions and strategy for the Summer Tour.

The Likely Return

Nigma Galaxy’s safelane hard carry player, Ammar "ATF" Al-Assaf, was moved to the inactive roster going into DreamLeague Season 19. Miracle- will be taking his role back as the standin' for the team. Miracle- took a break earlier at the start of the DPC 2022-2023 season due to his health issues. Even though neither he nor his team hasn’t officially disclosed further information about his health, his return could mean his condition has improved.

Nigma Galaxy currently has 0 DPC points to their name. Nigma Galaxy has also been losing some of its fans. But with the likely return of Miracle-, the team will be able to regain some fans back as he is a fan favourite. The team will also have to make a miracle run at The International 2023 qualifiers to earn their spot at The International 2023. Miracle- has also been grinding a lot on his smurf account. Fans are thrilled by the news and can't wait to see the return of their favourite player.
