ESL Pro League Katowice: Format, Teams, Schedule, and More
The Counter-Strike elite return to the legendary Spodek Arena. Starting October 3, 16 of the esports’ best will gather in Katowice for ESL Pro League Season 24.

The 16 teams playing in the ESL Pro League Season 24 are seeded as per the tournament power rankings and are as follows:

The tournament kicks off on October 3 with the first round of the Swiss Stage. After 8 days of back-to-back action, the tournament concludes on October 11.

Opening Fixtures
The first round of Swiss will pair up the top-seeded teams against the lower-seeded teams. The opening matchups of ESL Por League S24 are:
The majority of these games would be one-sided beatings by the higher-seeded teams. The G2-NAVI and Aurora-9z matches will likely be the two most closely-contested games of the first round.
What to Expect from ESL Pro League Katowice?
With the Singapore Major 2026 quickly approaching, Katowice will be a battle to determine the top dogs of Counter-Strike esports. At the same time, it will also be crucial for the lower-ranked teams to garner as many VRS points as possible to secure the later stages of the competition.
The frontrunners to win the title, however, will still be Spirit, Vitality, and Falcons. While Falcons continue to struggle, they are a solid team, and following a much-needed mental reset, they should come better prepared to win the trophy.
Team Vitality has already won a trophy at the StarLadder StarSeries Fall 2026, giving them some much-needed momentum and resetting their short-lived, yet prevalent, poor run of form.
Team Spirit come in as defending champions of sorts, as they won the trophy — BLAST Open Fall — when these three teams last played together.
From the rest of the attendees, FURIA, MOUZ, G2, and NAVI stand out as the most notable teams that can make a dent. It will also help them get back in prime form if they want to challenge the triad on top.
