Every CS:GO and CS2 Major Winner (2013-2026)
Counter-Strike has a rich history of tournaments and champions, none more significant than the Major. The single most prestigious accolade a player can earn in the game, it represents the competitive pinnacle of the esport and the winners etch their names into the history books forever.
In August 2023, Valve announced that the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) official servers would be shut down and the competitive scene would shift over to Counter-Strike 2 (CS2). The 2023 Paris Major served as the final CS:GO Major before the scene transitioned over fully into CS2. The 2024 PGL Copenhagen Major then served as the first-ever CS2 Major.

How many teams compete at a CS Major?
The current CS2 Major format features 32 teams, expanded from 24 starting with the BLAST.tv Austin Major in 2025. Earlier Majors used smaller fields: 16 teams from 2013-2017, then 24 teams from 2018 (ELEAGUE Boston) through 2024 (Shanghai), before the latest 32-team expansion.
