With the move, Cloud9 has completed their VCT 2025 roster, retaining the services of Moose, Oxy and Xeppa along with the coaching staff of Immi and GUGLi.

The new Cloud9 will be as follows:

The first player to be added to the roster is v1c, who recently helped the team qualify for Red Bull Home Ground #5 over Sentinels. Before Cloud9, v1c played under the Shopify Rebellion (Moist x Shopify since September 2023) banner, competing in VCL NA.

The team was one of the strongest in VCL 2024: North America but failed to qualify for VCT 2024: Americas Ascension after placing 3rd behind TSM.

The second part of the puzzle, Rossy returns to North America after spending a year with T1 in Korea. Prior to joining T1, he was a household name in NA VALORANT and a notable alumni of multiple NA powerhouses namely TSM, FaZe Clan and Turtle Troop.

Rossy will also likely take over as the team’s IGL for the upcoming season and has the ability to flex multiple roles, similar to Xeppa.

The roster has immense potential to compete with the best and it’ll be interesting to see how Immi and GUGLi utilize the players available. We will see the new Cloud9 play at Red Bull Home Grounds #5 competing against the likes of Fnatic, Fokus, Karmine Corp etc.

With the Cloud9 roster complete, we have 4 out of 12 VCT Americas teams locked in for the upcoming season.
