Team Spirit snapped a three-match losing streak on Sunday (October 25), its first since December 2023. The Russian team defeated TYLOO 2-0 at PGL Masters Bucharest 2026, a Counter-Strike 2 tournament held in Romania.

The win also marked a return to form for Danil “donk” Kryshkovets. After recording the lowest rating on his team in the opening match against BETBOOM, donk stood out in the victory over TYLOO.

Spirit Lost to MOUZ, Aurora, and BETBOOM in Consecutive Matches

The losing streak began in the closing stages of ESL Pro League Season 24 and continued into the opening round of PGL Masters Bucharest:

  • October 10: A 2-1 loss to MOUZ in the ESL Pro League S24 semifinals.
  • October 11: A 2-0 loss to Aurora in the ESL Pro League S24 third-place match.
  • October 24: A 2-1 loss to BETBOOM in the opening round of PGL Masters Bucharest 2026.

The last time Spirit lost three consecutive series was in December 2023, when it fell to SINNERS, Virtus.pro, and FORZE.

The streak was particularly striking given the team's recent results. Spirit won the Esports World Cup 2026 in August and claimed the BLAST Open Porto title in September, defeating MOUZ 3-1 in the grand final.

donk Bounces Back Against TYLOO After 0.84 Rating

donk's recent numbers had also reflected the team's struggles. Before the TYLOO match, the Russian player had posted a 1.01 rating across 12 maps against top-20 teams over a one-month period. The sample included ESL Pro League S24 and Spirit's opening match in Bucharest.

Across those maps, donk averaged 79.3 damage per round (ADR), 0.72 kills per round, 0.77 deaths per round, and a 67.4% KAST. Those numbers contrasted with his BLAST Open Porto campaign, where he earned MVP honors with a 1.40 rating across 12 maps. However, the two samples feature different groups of opponents and are not directly comparable.

In the loss to BETBOOM, donk finished the series with a 0.84 rating, 47 kills, and 55 deaths. On Sunday (October 25), he recorded a 1.53 rating, 36 kills, 18 deaths, and 96.3 ADR across two maps against TYLOO, leading Spirit in match rating.

Spirit won Mirage 13-5 and Anubis 13-3, improving to 1-1 in the Swiss stage of PGL Masters Bucharest. Its third-round match is scheduled for Monday (October 26), with the opponent still to be determined.
