The MongolZ won the 1win Private Club Season 2 title on Thursday (October 22), sweeping PARIVISION 3-0 in the grand final. The Counter-Strike 2 tournament in Belgrade, Serbia, featured a $100,000 prize pool, with the champions taking home $25,000.

It was the team's first title in 14 months. Their previous trophy came at the Esports World Cup 2025 in August, when they also won the final 3-0, that time against Aurora. This title came in the debut tournament for the new lineup featuring nin9 and the return of cobrazera.

How The MongolZ Beat PARIVISION in the Grand Final

The best-of-five final was over in three maps. The MongolZ took Ancient 13-6, Mirage 13-11, and Dust2 13-4.

Mirage was the only close map. The MongolZ reached match point with a 12-4 lead but lost seven consecutive rounds before closing it out. PARIVISION won fewer than seven rounds on both Ancient and Dust2.

Yesuntumur “nin9” Gantulga led The MongolZ in the final with 53 kills, 32 deaths, and a 1.56 rating, according to HLTV. Captain Garidmagnai “bLitz” Byambasuren followed with 51 kills and a 1.32 rating.

The MongolZ's Run at 1win Private Club 2

The MongolZ finished the tournament with five wins and one loss. They opened with a 2-0 win over Alliance, then lost 2-0 to BIG in the upper-bracket semifinal and dropped to the lower bracket.

Their route back to the final included 2-0 wins over magic and PRIVATE, followed by a rematch with BIG. The MongolZ lost Cache 13-4 but came back to win Inferno 13-3 and Mirage 13-7, taking the series 2-1.

In the comeback against BIG, Usukhbayar “910” Banzragch stood out with a 1.60 rating. nin9 then recorded the team's highest rating in the grand final.

The MongolZ's New Lineup Wins Title in First Tournament

The 1win Private Club 2 was the first tournament for the lineup featuring nin9, signed from The Huns, and Anarbileg “cobrazera” Uuganbayar, who returned to the starting roster after nearly three months on the bench. nin9 had previously represented the organization in 2018.

The two changes were announced in early October, with nin9 and cobrazera taking the places of tikuak and DarkMeister, who were moved to the bench. The reshuffle followed two other major departures: Azbayar “Senzu” Munkhbold and Ayush “mzinho” Batbold. The title-winning roster also includes bLitz, 910, and Sodbayar “Techno” Munkhbold.
