Recently, Eastern Europe has been under a lot of scrutinies. From players leaving the organisation to match-fixing allegations, the news from the region shooked the whole Dota 2 community. However, there is a silver lining after all the intense drama it has been through. 9Pandas has officially signed the former HellRaisers squad consisting of Aleksey Solo" Berezin and Roman "RAMZES" Kushnarev.

Entering the top scene

Although 9Pandas is not new to the esports scene, it doesn’t have a top-tier roster to represent them before signing the Dota 2 roster.  The former HellRaisers squad, now known as 9Pandas, has secured a slot at The Berlin Major by dominating their Eastern Europe region.

By picking the squad of Aleksey Solo" Berezin and Roman "RAMZES" Kushnarev, it seems that 9Pandas are looking forward to establishing a reputation for themselves in the esports industry. Recently, 9Pandas added a female team to their CS: GO department. The organisation also has a reality show focusing on its CS: GO team called TRYHARD.

In an official statement drafted by 9Pandas, the team stated that many people know them from their media project. However, 9Pandas’s primary focus is esports. And they planned to reign supreme in the competitive scene as well.

The accusations

The new signing also comes with some drama for the team as well. Roman "RAMZES" Kushnarev, the safelane hard carry, has been accused of alleged match-fixing. The player took no time in addressing the issues brought up against him, clearing his name. The player stated that he despised anyone who did that. It’s effing funny, as he already has enough money for a living.

The accuser later released a community post on YouTube, apologising to RAMZES for his mistakes. In his post, the accuser mistook “Ramzes” for another person called “Ramsay”. Based on Ramzes’s history and status, there is also no way that a player of his calibre would do something like this.

Ramzes and his new team will debut at The Berlin Major starting on the 26th of April.
