Following the electrifying conclusion of VCT Masters Shanghai, where Gen.G clinched their and the Pacific region’s first international trophy, the spotlight now turns to the Pacific League.

VCT Pacific 2024 Stage 2 is set to commence on June 15th, bringing with it a wave of anticipation for fierce competition and captivating matches. And in this article, we will tell you all you need to know about the tournament.

Format:

  • The Group Stage of the VCT Pacific 2024 runs from June 15th to July 8th, 2024.
    • It consists of two single round-robin groups: Group Alpha with 5 teams and Group Omega with 6 teams.
    • Teams were drawn randomly from pots based on their Kickoff performance.
    • Group Alpha includes the Kickoff winner, while the runner-up is placed into Group Omega.
    • Teams will play inter-group matches. (Cross-group matches were in Stage 1 only.)
    • The Top 6 teams with the highest combined scores from Stage 1 and Stage 2 will advance to the Playoffs.
    • The Top 2 teams will get a direct bye to the Upper Bracket Semifinals.
  • The Playoffs take place from July 12th to July 21st, 2024, featuring a hybrid-elimination bracket.
    • Knockout Round matches (Upper Bracket Quarterfinals) are single-elimination, while Upper Bracket Semifinals onwards are double-elimination.
    • All matches are Bo3.
    • While the Lower Bracket Final & Grand Final are Bo5.
  • The top 3 teams from the Playoffs will qualify for VALORANT Champions 2024.

Participating Teams:

The eleven teams in the Pacific League have been divided into two groups of five and six teams, respectively, dubbed the Alpha and Omega Groups.

  1. Gen.G Esports
  2. T1
  3. Team Secret
  4. Global Esports
  5. Bleed Esports

Omega Group:

  1. Paper Rex
  2. DRX
  3. ZETA DIVISION
  4. Talon Esports
  5. DetonatioN FocusMe
  6. Rex Regum Qeon

Schedule:

  • Week 1 - June 15th to June 17th
  • Week 2 - June 22nd to June 24th
  • Week 3 - June 29 to July 1st
  • Week 4 - July 5th to July 8th

All group stage matches will begin on 5pm KST / 10am CEST / 1am PDT and 7pm KST / 12pm CEST / 3am PDT on the given match dates.

Playoffs:

The Playoffs bracket will start from the Knockout rounds on July 12th, Friday. More information on the playoffs will be revealed as the tournament progresses further.

The Grand Finals will take place on July 21st, Sunday.
