As the VCT Pacific League Stage 2 approaches its final week, the top six teams moving on to the playoffs have already been decided. These teams have qualified based on their overall scores from both Stage 1 and Stage 2. The playoffs promise excitement, with some familiar faces and a few new contenders ready to surprise everyone.

The Good

Gen.G

Gen.G enters the playoffs as one of the clear favorites. Fresh off their historic win at VCT Masters Shanghai, where they secured the Pacific region's first international trophy, Gen.G is on a mission to add a domestic title to their cabinet. Currently boasting a 2-0 record in the group stage, they have shown no signs of slowing down.

With their momentum and confidence, Gen.G poses as a formidable force to reckon with in the playoffs.

Paper Rex

The reigning champions of VCT Pacific, Paper Rex, have their sights set on another title. Although they haven't had as much international success as Gen.G, their dominance in the Pacific region is unquestionable.

Known as the "Final Boss" of the Pacific, Paper Rex aims to secure a double victory by clinching the Stage 2 playoffs. Their experience and skill make them a team that no one can afford to underestimate.

The Decent

DRX

DRX has experienced a tumultuous journey this season. Once the undisputed top team in Korea, they have been overshadowed by Gen.G. After a disappointing 4th place finish in Stage 1, DRX made significant roster changes, including the departure of Kim "stax" Gu-taek and the promotion of Kim "MaKo" Myeong as the new in-game leader.

Despite a shaky start, DRX has qualified for the playoffs and remains determined to reclaim their throne.

Talon Esports

Talon Esports has made a steady recovery after unsatisfactory finishes in the Kickoff and Stage 1 events. Under the guidance of coach Hector "FrosT" Rosario, the team has gradually improved and now stands ready to compete with the top teams.

Entering the playoffs as underdogs, Talon aims to prove they have evolved and deserve serious consideration from their opponents.

The New

Rex Regum Qeon

Rex Regum Qeon has transformed from a team once considered one of the weaker ones in the Pacific region to a formidable contender. The team's relentless grind, coupled with the addition of Cahya "Monyet" Nugraha, has paid off.

This will be RRQ's first appearance in the Pacific League playoffs. They are eager to make a significant impact and to establish themselves as a top team in the region.

Team Secret

Team Secret has often come close to the playoffs but has struggled to advance further. After experiencing a knockout round exit in Stage 1 and a Play-in stage exit at Kickoff, they are determined to advance further this time.

With a renewed focus and determination, Team Secret aims to make a mark in the tournament. And prove they have what it takes to compete at the highest level.

The final week of VCT Pacific will take place from July 5th to 8th. With the playoffs scheduled to begin on July 12th. As these six teams prepare to battle it out for the Stage 2 title, fans can expect thrilling matches and intense competition.

The playoffs promise to showcase the best of VALORANT in the Pacific region. With each team vying for glory and a chance to be crowned champions.
