VALORANT Champions 2024 Playoffs: Format, Teams, Fixtures and more

The second stage of VALORANT Champions 2024, kicks off on the 14th of August, featuring the eight remaining teams.

These eight teams will battle it out in a double-elimination bracket to crown the 2024 VALORANT Champion on the 25th August.

VALORANT Champions 2024 Playoffs: Format & Schedule

A total of eight teams qualify for the VALORANT Champions 2024 Playoffs.

The opening fixtures of the double-elimination bracket Playoffs are drawn on the final day of group stage.

  • In the Playoffs draw, the #1 seeds will be paired against the #2 seeds from other groups.
  • All the series played will be Bo3s, except Lower Finals and Grand Finals that will be Bo5.

Inspire Arena will host the final four teams and the Grand Finals of VALORANT Champions 2024.

Playoffs Schedule

  • 14th August - Opening Games
  • 15th August - Opening Games
  • 16th August - Lower Bracket Round 1
  • 17th August - Upper Bracket Semifinals
  • 18th August - Lower Bracket Round 2
  • 23rd August - Upper Finals & Lower Bracket Round 3
  • 24th August - Lower Final
  • 25th August - Grand Finals

Qualified Teams and Opening Fixtures

Out of the 16 teams playing, only eight will survive; these eight teams are as follows:

  • Group A
    • #1 - DRX
    • #2 - Fnatic
  • Group B
  • Group C
  • Group D
    • #1 - G2 Esports
    • #2 - EDward Gaming

These eight teams will take on each other in four opening games. The fixtures for the opening games are as follow:

  • DRX vs. Sentinels [14th August 17:00 KST// 10:00 CEST]
  • Trace Esports vs. EDward Gaming [14th August 20:00 KST// 13:00 CEST]
  • G2 Esports vs. Leviatan [15th August 17:00 KST// 10:00 CEST]
  • Team Heretics vs. Fnatic [15th August 20:00 KST// 13:00 CEST]
