Team Vitality continued their unprecedented dominance in Counter-Strike 2 by claiming the IEM Dallas 2025 trophy with a commanding 3-0 sweep over MOUZ in Sunday's Grand Final. The French powerhouse secured their sixth consecutive tournament victory and extended their remarkable winning streak to 30 matches, further cementing their status as the most dominant force in competitive Counter-Strike.

The Grand Final showcased Vitality's tactical superiority across three maps: Dust II (13-11), Mirage (13-9), and Inferno (13-8). Despite MOUZ entering the series as the hotter team with impressive form throughout the tournament, Vitality's experience and clutch factor proved decisive when it mattered most.

Map-by-Map Breakdown

Dust II opened the series with intense back-and-forth action. Vitality established an early 7-5 lead in the first half, but the map's defining moment came from MOUZ's Jimpphat, who delivered a spectacular 1v5 clutch at 8-5 that sparked a six-round comeback streak. However, Vitality's championship pedigree shone through as they regained composure to close out the map 13-11, demonstrating the resilience that has defined their 2025 campaign.

Mirage saw Vitality assert their dominance from the opening rounds. Starting off on the CT-side, the French team suffocated MOUZ's attacks and built an incredible 10-2 halftime lead. The standout moment came when ZywOo delivered a devastating ace against MOUZ's full-buy round, effectively crushing their opponents' economy and momentum. Despite MOUZ's second-half resistance, winning six consecutive rounds, Vitality maintained control to secure a 13-9 victory.

Inferno concluded the series in emphatic fashion. Team Vitality started strong on T-side, leading 7-5 at halftime. The map's pivotal moment belonged to captain apEX, who executed a stunning solo push through banana, eliminating three MOUZ players on the B site in a display of individual brilliance that exemplified his leadership. The French side never relinquished control, closing out the map 13-8 and the series with authority.

ZywOo MVP

ZywOo capped off Vitality's championship run by claiming the IEM Dallas 2025 MVP award – his sixth consecutive tournament MVP and 26th of his career.

The French superstar dominated the Grand Final against MOUZ with 59 kills and just 35 deaths while averaging 99.6 ADR across the three maps.

With this latest MVP honor, ZywOo has now claimed five MVP awards in 2025 alone, further solidifying his position as the world's premier Counter-Strike player.

Unprecedented Dominance

This victory represents more than just another trophy for Team Vitality—it's a statement of their complete mastery over the Counter-Strike scene in 2025. Their 30-match winning streak puts them halfway to NiP's legendary 60-match record from 2013, though the French team already hold the record for consecutive series victories in best-of-three and best-of-five formats.

The tournament win also positions Vitality to achieve historic milestones. Having already secured the ESL Grand Slam Season 5 with their IEM Melbourne victory in April, they're now positioned to become the first team ever to win two ESL Grand Slams in a single calendar year, with three qualifying tournaments remaining in 2025.

For MOUZ, the defeat extends their losing streak against Vitality to seven matches, including three finals losses this year alone. Despite their impressive run to the IEM Dallas Grand Final and strong individual performances, they continue to find Vitality to be an insurmountable obstacle.

With the BLAST.tv Austin Major approaching next month, Vitality will enter the tournament as overwhelming favorites to win it all, having demonstrated that even when challenged by the world's best teams, their combination of individual skill, tactical flexibility, and championship experience remains unmatched in competitive Counter-Strike.
