LOUD has ended its Counter-Strike 2 project before ever officially announcing its entry into the game. According to reporting from Dust2 Brasil, the organization released the Largados y Pelados roster, which had reportedly reached an agreement with LOUD in May.

Team captain Leonardo "zmb" Toledo and coach Pablo "disturbed" Fernandes announced on social media that they are no longer under contract. Both said the group intends to continue playing together under the LP tag while also remaining open to individual offers.

"I'm here to announce that I'm a free agent and no longer under contract (thanks to our president). We'll keep playing together as @LyPcs2, but we're also open to individual offers. God knows all things, and this won't be the time I give up."

"Just stopping by to let everyone know that I'm now a free agent. We'll keep playing together as @LyPcs2 and we're looking for an organization, but I'm also open to individual offers. Thanks for all the support I've received over the past few months, and I hope I can keep counting on you."

Project Lasted Months Without an Official Announcement

The connection between LOUD and LP was never made official through a roster announcement, but the agreement had already been reported in May. At the time, Dust2 Brasil reported that the organization had completed a deal for the entire Largados y Pelados lineup.

Over the following months, the team continued competing under the LP tag. According to the same report, LOUD covered tournament entry fees and also funded a bootcamp in Portugal. The organization even published a teaser related to its move into Counter-Strike, while the players wore jerseys featuring references to LOUD.

The team also recorded several notable results during that period. LP won CCT 2026 South America Series 1, BetBoom Storm Season 3 and Circuit X Recife. More recently, during its stay in Portugal, the roster finished 5th-8th at Roman Imperium Cup VIII, HyperX Retake Season 12 and LeonBet Masters Season 1.

disturbed Links Departure to Brazil's Betting Ban

According to Dust2 Brasil, disturbed linked the roster's release to Brazil's recent ban on betting companies. LOUD, however, had not publicly provided a reason for ending the project at the time of publication, meaning the regulatory changes cannot be stated as the organization's confirmed reason for the decision.

The context referenced by the coach is Provisional Measure No. 1,394, published on September 25 in Brazil. The measure prohibits the operation, offering, intermediation and advertising of fixed-odds betting in Brazil, while also restricting related marketing and sponsorship activities.

On the same day LP's players announced the end of their contracts, Vivo Keyd Stars also announced an indefinite pause to its CS2 project. In Keyd's case, the organization itself pointed to recent changes in the competitive landscape and Brazil's commercial and regulatory environment when explaining the decision.

"Throughout 2025 and 2026, we invested in building and developing the Counter-Strike scene, closely following the evolution of the game and working to create a competitive structure worthy of our history.

However, recent changes to the competitive model and the commercial and regulatory environment in the country led us to reassess our plans. After this review, we have decided, for now, to pause our competitive CS2 project and evaluate new opportunities."

LP to Stay Together and Search for New Organization

Despite the end of its ties with LOUD, the roster intends to continue competing together. The Largados y Pelados lineup consists of:

The team's next confirmed event is Circuit X Curitiba 3. LP will continue competing with the same lineup while searching for a new organization, with its members also available for individual offers.
