The BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 is here! The first Valve-sponsored Counter-Strike 2 event of the year will feature 32 teams in a highly competitive four-stage tournament.

As tradition, the in-game Pick’Em Challenge is now live. Playing the challenge not only awards a collectible coin but also a chance to earn up to three souvenir packages.

How to Play the Pick’Em Challenge?

To participate in the Austin Major 2025 Pick’Em Challenge, players must buy the Viewer Pass. Currently, there are two variants of the viewer pass:

  • Viewer Pass — $9.99
  • Viewer Pass + 3 Souvenir Tokens — $17.99

The second variant offers three additional souvenir tokens that can be used to redeem three souvenir packages. Once you’ve bought the pass, you can play the Pick’Em Challenge.

The purpose of the challenge is to upgrade the collectible coin received with the viewer pass.

The coin is upgraded by completing the following challenges:

  • Activate the coin
  • Place all ten Pick’Em predictions for Stage 1 before the stage starts
  • Get five correct predictions
  • Place all ten predictions for Stage 2 before the stage starts
  • Get five correct predictions
  • Place all ten predictions for Stage 3 before the stage starts
  • Get five correct predictions
  • Place all seven Playoff predictions before the stage starts
  • Make two correct predictions for the Quarterfinals
  • Make one correct prediction for the Semifinals
  • Make a correct prediction for the Grand Final

Completing the first four challenges upgrades the coin to Silver, the next four to Gold, and the last three to Diamond. Players will get one souvenir token per coin upgrade.

How to redeem Souvenir packages?

The Souvenir packages are Major-exclusive containers featuring skins from collections tied to the active map pool (Anubis, Ancient, Dust 2, Inferno, Mirage, Nuke, Train).

At the Austin Major 2025, the following Souvenir packages will feature:

  • 2018 Inferno Collection
  • 2018 Nuke Collection
  • 2021 Dust 2 Collection
  • 2021 Mirage Collection
  • 2025 Train Collection
  • Anubis Collection
  • Ancient Collection

Once you have a souvenir token, select a game from any of the four stages and choose a map from the series to redeem your souvenir package. With the souvenir package, you can either sell it in the future or open it to get a “souvenir” skin from the collection corresponding to the package.

The quality of the skins and their drop rates are as follows:

  • Consumer grade (~80%)
  • Industrial grade (~16%)
  • Mil-spec (~3.2%)
  • Restricted (~0.64%)
  • Classified (~0.128%)
  • Covert (~0.026%)

These drop rates do not apply to the 2025 Train Collection, which has these drop rates:

  • Industrial grade (~80%)
  • Mil-spec (~16%)
  • Restricted (~3.2%)
  • Classified (~0.64%)
  • Covert (~0.128%)

Note: Souvenir skins cannot be used for trade-ups.

A souvenir skin has a pre-applied sticker of the map and the teams playing on that specific map. The 2025 souvenir skins are also reported to feature a charm responding to a highlight of the map you chose. You can also purchase specific souvenir packages for $2.99.

What is the best Souvenir package to redeem?

Choosing a souvenir package to redeem is largely based on personal preference. While the chances of getting a purple, pink, or red skin from the package are extremely rare, some of these packages contain some of the most sought-after, extremely rare, and expensive skins.

Some notable skins from these packages are:

  • 2018 Inferno Collection
    • SG 553 | Integrale (Covert): $50 – $1000
  • 2018 Nuke Collection
    • M4A1-S | Control Panel (Covert): $50 – $800
  • 2021 Dust 2 Collection
    • AK-47 | Gold Arabesque (Covert): $1550 – $4800
  • 2021 Mirage Collection
    • AWP | Desert Hydra (Covert): $1200 – $2700
    • Desert Eagle | Fennec Fox (Classified): $120 – $420
  • 2025 Train Collection
    • AWP | LongDog (Covert): $100 – $700
  • Anubis Collection
    • M4A4 | Eye of Horus (Covert): $200 – $1900
  • Ancient Collection
    • M4A1-S | Welcome to the Jungle (Covert): $500 – $4000
    • AK-47 | Panthera Onca (Classified): $100 – $520

If the 2025 packages include a game-specific charm, these prices are sure to shoot up. The fiscally responsible decision is to sell the souvenir packages themselves, especially if they include a charm.

Now you know everything there is to know about the Pick’Em Challenge and Souvenir packages! Stay tuned for a stage-by-stage prediction guide and keep following BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 on Strafe.

CS2 Major Revenue Share Changes Are Pushing Organizations Away from Counter-Strike

Valve’s new CS2 Major revenue share ties sticker income to VRS and final placement, removing capsule‑style payouts and concentrating money among top finishers. The result: higher volatility for clubs that relied on sticker cheques, early roster cuts like Gaimin Gladiators, and a narrower field of sustainable CS2 organizations unless the payout model changes.
