Taiga Joins Wildcard Gaming for The International 2023

With The International qualifiers starting in a few days, teams are making their final roster changes. Today, 10th August is the last day for roster lock. As of yesterday, Taiga joined Wildcard Gaming on loan from OG. As of now, Taiga, along with the Husky, completes the roster for Wildcard.

The roster is,

  1. Sammyboy
  2. RCY
  3. Sunlight
  4. Taiga
  5. Husky

Wildcard Gaming

Wildcard has been in the North American DPC for almost two years. They have been inconsistent in the 2023 DPC, dropping to Division II. But they are building their way back up. They have secured their Division I slot for next year's DPC. The only thing remaining for the team is roster consistency. Taiga's move to Wildcard might be temporary, but his skills and experience are a priceless asset to them. If they have a good run at TI12 and he feels comfortable, the team will be able to achieve a lot more in the future.

What does Wildcard Gaming offer Taiga and vice versa?

With Taiga's move, it brings a new and fresh look to the player's career. It will help him battle the depression he has been suffering from. Learning about the new team and their view of Dota will open new ideas for Taiga.

Also, his experience playing with some of the top Dota players and organizations like Liquid and OG is useful. Being one of the best supports in the Western Europe region is no joke. Wildcard Gaming will gain a lot from the two-time ESL One champ.

TI Regional Qualifiers

The qualifiers for The International start on August 17th for both the Chinese and NA regions. There are only a few days left for these teams to synergize with their new teammates. And with the new patch making a drastic change along with some bugs will be a hurdle for them to get through.
