Following his team's victory against T1 in Week 7 of the LCK Summer Season, Gen.G Peyz has become the youngest player to reach 1000 kills in the LCK.

The record-breaking performance came in Game 1 of the series against T1. In a standout showing on Senna, Peyz was voted player of the game after leading his team to victory and finishing the game with a KDA of 6/1/10.

Kim "Peyz" Su-Hwan had immense shoes to fill when he initially joined Gen.G in November of 2022, at only 16 years of age.

The team chose Peyz to replace none other than former World Champion AD carry Park "Ruler" Jae-Hyuk, following the star player's move to Chinese powerhouse JD Gaming.

The young AD carry never shied away from pressure, however, and has been a standout player in what has become the most dominant team in LCK history.

Now, at just 18 years old, Peyz has become the youngest player to reach 1000 kills in the LCK, while also doing it in the lowest amount of games played. Peyz has also had the honor of breaching the 1000 assists threshold.

It seems only fitting that the historic feat has come against reigning World Champions and long-time LCK rivals T1.
