Michał "Nisha" Jankowski shared his list of the strongest mid heroes in Dota 2 patch 7.37d. The recent International winner discussed which heroes he thinks are worth picking and why, along with which rising star isn't worth his time.

Nisha and the rest of Team Liquid are competing in the second group stage, with the goal of making it to the playoffs for the all important EPT points to qualify for the Esports World Cup.

Team Liquid had a rough start to the second group stage. They lost their first three series and have an uphill battle ahead of them. Liquid regrouped in the second half of the league, winning the last three matches.

When asked why Liquid struggled, Nisha stated that it's due to them facing Spirit, Falcons, and Parivision first.

"I think we just played pretty rough opponents first three matches, and then something clicked I guess. I don't think we played much better than we did at the start"

The next opponent is BetBoom Team, currently ranked first in the group. Nisha told the panel how high he rated their upcoming matchup, "Top of the group. I think they beat us 3 times, yeah they are pretty high."

Nisha is one of the few players to pick Tiny in the mid lane. So far he has won both games with him in the group stage. His combined score is 18-3-28, an impressive KDA of 15.3

When asked how he rates Tiny compared to other mids, Nisha placed him quite low on the list.

"Invoker first, you cannot counter him in lane. Then Storm, cause it's bugged. Then Earth Spirit, he is just broken as well, then Tiny. Tiny is just ok, he's there."

The bug Nisha mentioned is due to Storm Spirit's Aghanim Shard upgrade hitting twice. This results in absurd amounts of damage for only 1400 gold investment.

Despite the bug, Storm Spirit is sitting at an exact 50% win rate right now. One hero who does well against Storm is his fiery brother Ember Spirit.

Emer is rising in popularity in DreamLeague Season 24. Despite pros picking him up, Nisha thinks the hero is weak and not worth the effort.

"I do not like [Ember Spirit. I mean it's ok against storm, but it doesn't scale. Gleipnir got nerfed, mage slayer isn't the greatest, you lack HP."

Team Liquid has one more game to go to decide their fat in DreamLeague Season 24. Catch all the action live on Twitch.
