Position 1 hard carry is the most stressful role to play in Dota 2. The victory of the team relies heavily on the player that plays the carry role and the role is not easy to play either. There are many factors a player playing this role should consider.

However, some people perform incredibly well under pressure when the opportunity presents itself, they could carry their team on their back to victories if necessary. Here are a few of them:

The former Thunder Predator player is known for his signature heroes like Morphling and Choas Knight. His recent accomplishment includes securing a 5th-6th place for his former team at The International 2022. He also helps the revamp Evil Genuises to become the BTS Pro Series Season 13 champions. It will be interesting to see what tricks he has up his sleeve for the Lima Major.

Watson (Entity)

Known for his incredible farming speed and his unpredictable farming pattern, Alimzhan “Watson” Islambekov could find any safe farm on the map even if his team are getting heavily pressured. He is often known for playing hard-farming heroes that could ensure his team’s victory if the hero is not dealt probably. His signature hero pool includes Terrorblade, Faceless Void and Morphling. Teams facing Entity always keep an eye on this player because he can overcome any amount of net worth deposit and carry his team.

m1CKe ( Team Liquid)

The former midlaner of Team Liquid is a hybrid player which means he can also perform splendidly as a hard carry as well. He is known for playing hybrid heroes such as Shadow Fiend and Morphling.  Team Liquid is playing fast-paced games, making plays around their space-creating midlaner and giving tempo-based heroes to m1CKe which he put on a marvellous performance as well.

Shiro (PSG.LGD)

Guo "shiro" Xuanang, the current carry of revamp PSG.LGD has been showing that he has what it takes to fill in the shoes of Wang "Ame" Chunyu. He is currently playing a lot of Lina as it is the meta hero however, his hero pool is versatile and his signature heroes include micro heroes like Lone Druid and Phantom Lancer as well as a hard carry like Morphling.

The current Ti champion, Oliver "skiter" Lepko expressed his love for micro heroes like Choas Knight and Naga Siren. He understands the game on another level which is often highlighted by his playstyle. There is a reason why he is The International 2022 Dota 2 Champion.
