As the Lima Major comes near, the Dota2 community is getting anxious. Fans have high expectations to watch intense high-level games, which the teams are putting in their best effort to provide. As this chaos is going on, the preparations for the Berlin Major have commenced.

Event details

DPC Major Berlin 2023

Velodrom Arena will be hosting the Spring Major. The event organizer is ESL One, who is no stranger to the world of esports. They have started selling tickets for the main event that will be happening on May 5th, 6th & 7th. The Premium & Plus tickets have been sold out, following which more tickets will be added on February 15th, 15:00 CET.

Qualifiers

The next set of regional qualifiers will take place after the Winter Tour ends. Two Division II teams will be participating in these qualifiers. The slots for each region are divided like this: 4 for WEU, 3 for EEU, 2 for NA, 3 for SEA, 4 for CN & 2 for SA. With a total of 18 qualifying slots, the teams will be competing for $ 500,000 at the Berlin Major. Only 6 teams will advance to play in front of a live crowd in the Velodrom Arena.

What to expect

After relegations, the upcoming season will see a lot of fresh talent. The Division II teams will have to prove they are worthy of the spots they took over. ESL One's last Major & non-DPC event was won by OG. They didn't qualify for the Winter Tour this year, can they come back to win to continue their ESL dominance ?
