Dendi, the TI1 winner and one of the oldest faces of Dota, has put together a squad to compete in The International qualifiers. It has been a while since Dendi has seen success in the pro scene. In his early years of Dota2, Dendi was one of the most skilled players contributing to Na'Vi's success. But this would not be for long, as new talent started emerging, making the pro scene tougher every year. His exit from the organization in 2019 brought life to his team B8 founded in 2020.

B8 DPC Runs and Roster Changes

The B8 team has had a mediocre run since entering the DPC in 2020. With roster changes consistently happening, the team had little time to synergize. It takes time for players to figure out their team's playstyle and how to positively make a difference. Though B8 had skillful players, they lacked consistency.

B8 moves to the NA region

So far, B8 has not qualified for any of The International events. However, after moving to the NA region for the 2023 DPC, B8 has been able to stay in Division I. This change has brought some stability within the team. Being able to compete in the Regional Qualifiers as one of the favorites this time, Dendi might be able to step foot on The International stage again.

B8's 2023 TI squad

  1. V-Tune
  2. Dendi
  3. StoneBank
  4. CTOMAHEH1
  5. Kidaro

With the addition of V-Tune and Kidaro to fill the Pos1 and Pos5 roles, Dendi completed his squad for TI. These 2 young players have started to make a name for themselves in the new era of Dota2's pro scene. V-tune especially joined Navi in 2020 and helped them gain momentum before leaving the squad in 2023.

Can B8 Grab their Ticket to TI?

Coming close to The Internationals, hopefully, the B8 squad is ready to face the other NA teams. The other teams have made roster changes, bringing in highly skilled and experienced players. With only one spot for the NA region, the matches will be exciting but bittersweet.
