The famous betting platform BetBoom has organized its 3rd tournament. The BetBoom Dacha has kicked off with online qualifiers. The qualifiers started on the 7th of August and will continue until the 13th. Eight teams were invited to the qualifiers, but unfortunately, only one will make it to the main tournament.

  • Virtus.Pro
  • One Move
  • Nemiga Gaming
  • Level UP
  • Luna Galaxy (formerly D1 Hustlers)
  • Nigma Galaxy
  • KZ Team (formerly Monaspa)
  • Alliance

Online Stage

In the online stage, only one team will advance to the Main Event. The eight teams will be divided into two groups and compete in two double-elimination rounds. From these rounds, four teams will advance to the Decider round, which is another double-elimination bracket. The winner will be the team that emerges victorious from this round.

Bracket 1

Level UP is the first team to qualify for the Deciders after beating Luna Galaxy. Alliance knocked out Virtus.Pro to face Luna Galaxy once again.

You can tune in to their match at 12:00 pm CET tomorrow.

Bracket 2

Nigma Galaxy defeated One Move to face Nemiga Gaming in the Upper Bracket Finals. Their match begins at 3:00 pm CET, followed by One Move Vs. KZ Team. One of these teams will be eliminated tomorrow.

Main Event

The main event will be from 10-16 September, with a prize pool of 250,000 USD. The main tournament consists of 8 teams, 7 invited and one from the Online Stage. So far, the invited teams for the BetBoom Dacha are,

  • Team Spirit
  • Gaimin Gladiators
  • BetBoom Team
  • 9Pandas
  • Team Aster
  • Beastcoast
  • TBD

Winner Predictions?

A few favorites are coming into this tournament. Being this close to TI, teams are trying to play their best and figure out strategies. With Valve dropping a new patch in September, it might drastically change the tournament.

Gaimin Gladiators

Well, this is an obvious one. The Gladiators are hungry for retribution after having their perfect year broken. Will the team be in form and wreak havoc again? Or have the others figured out the Gladiators? All we know is Quinn will be more dangerous in the mid-lane.

Team Spirit

Other teams plan the best way to win games, but Team Spirit plans the best tournament to win. With a mediocre performance the whole year, Team Spirit was not on anyone's radar. But at the correct time, they snatched the win at Riyadh Masters along with 5,000,000 USD. However, the recent issues that the members of Team Spirit are facing might affect their game.
