Details on the VALORANT Champions 2024 Opening Ceremony have now been released. The ceremony will take place prior to the Grand Finals of VALORANT Champions 2024 on August 25th.

Start time for the opening ceremony has been announced to begin at 4pm KST // 12am PT. As is tradition with Riot Games, their opening ceremonies for Worlds and Champions tend to be the highlight of the year in terms of opulence and celebration and this year promises to be no different.

With an incredible lineup of exciting talent including Kiss of Life and Mark Tuan (OMG right?), the mood will be nicely set for an epic Grand Finals Match. Oh, and there's probably going to be a showmatch as per usual to showcase VALORANT newest agent - an initiator most likely, with an hourglass theme.

Is VALORANT Crossplay? PC, PS5, Xbox & Mobile Explained (2026)

VALORANT does not offer crossplay between PC and console. This means that PC players can only match and play against other PC players, and console players (PS5 and Xbox) players can only match and play against other console players. While there is no crossplay in VALORANT, the game does support cross progression, which means that your account, skins, and any other form of progress carry from one platform to the other (from PC to console, and vice versa).
