12 teams from VCT Americas, VCT EMEA, VCT Pacific and VCT China will take on one another to crown the second international VALORANT champion of 2024 at the Mercedes Benz Arena.

Let’s go over the tournament details.

VCT Masters Shanghai: Format and Schedule

The tournament will be divided into two stages: the Swiss Stage featuring 8 teams, followed by an 8-team Playoff Bracket. You can check all the qualified teams here.

The winners (1st seed) of each International Leagues' Split 1 have received a bye from Swiss, and are directly seeded into the Playoffs.

The remaining 8 teams will play the Swiss Stage featuring best-of-three games. The teams have to secure two wins before losing twice to qualify for the Playoffs.

During the first stage, teams with the same W-L record will play each other until 4 teams secure Playoffs.

The draw for the Swiss Stage followed the VCT Americas Split 1 Grand Finals, deciding the fixtures for Round 1. You can check the fixtures and our predictions for it here. The fixtures for Round 2 will be drawn following the conclusion of Round 1.
