Well, the Dota 2 world got some surprising news today. Alexander "TORONTOTOKYO" Khertek is out of OG, after barely two months with the orginization. This is quite a move by the squad, as they are now without an offlaner, with only a month to the Esports World Cup on the way.

This move means that OG will have three offlaners in as many months. But who can they find on such short notice?

TORONTOTOKYO's time with OG didn't bring the best results

OG Blast Slam VII.jpg

When OG announced their SEA squad, the team was off to a running start. Top six in three tier-one events, followed by a fourth place finish in Blast Slam VI. OG was back, no longer did fans have to watch True Sight to catch them at their glory days.

Sadly, the magic didn't last long. The team really struggled in the following three events, with bottom of the board finishes in the group stage. Clearly the team wanted a change and decided to replace Nikko "Nikko" Bilocura with TORONTOTOKYO.

The results were.....less than steller. The team struggled in DreamLeague 29 Qualifiers and went 3-8 in the latest Blast Slam. Clearly OG and TORONTOTOKYO thought this squad had hit their limit and decided to part ways.

Can OG bring back Nikko?

So one solution to this problem is, just bring back the old OG offlaner right? they had good resuls so what's the problem?

Well it seems that OG did not part well with Nikko. Sources inside OG say the split was not very amicable, while Andrei "skem" Ong had less than loving words to share about his former teammate on his stream a month ago

So while anything IS possible, it would be surprising to see Nikko back on OG after what happened. However, it's important to note that most of OG's EPT points were made with Nikko (1600/2180), so there's that.

So OG will now have to find a new offlaner, with only a month to EWC. The good news is, whichever offlaner they bring will have a free trip to Paris for one of the biggest events of the year. The bad news is, a month with no tournaments to play leaves the team without any practical experience with their new player. How will OG manage this situation?
