Portuguese underdogs SAW and CIS powerhouse Team Spirit emerge triumphant in the BLAST Premier Spring Showdown, securing their spots in the BLAST Premier Spring Final.

SAW's Triumph Over OG

In a gripping display of prowess, SAW, the Portuguese sensation, secured their spot in the BLAST Premier Spring Final by defeating OG in the Spring Showdown semi-finals. Despite OG missing star player Nikita "HeavyGod" Martynenko due to health issues, SAW delivered a stellar performance, dominating Ancient with a 13-8 victory. Even as OG attempted a comeback on Overpass, SAW's resilience and teamwork prevailed, clinching the series with a 2-0 win.

Christopher "MUTiRiS" Fernandes, SAW's captain, expressed his elation after the match, emphasizing the team's hard work and determination. With this victory, SAW extends their winning streak to eight series.

Spirit's Resilience Against Metizport

Meanwhile, Team Spirit demonstrated their resilience and determination in a hard-fought battle against Metizport. Despite a setback on Vertigo, where Metizport secured a convincing 13-8 victory, Spirit rallied back with dominant performances on Mirage and Nuke.

Led by standout performances from players like Danil "donk" Kryshkovets and Myroslav "zont1x" Plakhotja, Spirit showcased their tactical prowess and individual skill to secure victories on Mirage (13-4) and Nuke (13-8). Despite Metizport's valiant efforts, Spirit's superior firepower and strategic execution proved too much to handle as they clinched a 2-1 victory and secured their spot in the Spring Final.
