OG Esports has added a new member to their Dota 2 roster. Nuengnara "23" Teeramahanon will play for the team in the upcoming Dota 2 season. 23 joined the team for two qualifiers as a stand-in before officially being invited to join.

This marks the first time that 23 travels to Europe in order to join a team, as well as the first time OG recruits a player from Southeast Asia since Yeik "MidOne" Nai Zheng.

Aside from his recent stint as a stand-in, 23 has played his entire professional career in Southeast Asia, with a short period in China. During that time he was a key part of several teams, such as T1, Fnatic, Talon Esports, and Aurora Gaming.

While he played for OG, the team competed in two qualifiers, reaching third place in both DreamLeague Season 24 and BetBoom Dacha Belgrade. While that wasn't enough to qualify the team for the main event, OG was impressed enough to sign 23 to their roster.

It's hard to judge how 23 will fit in with the team. OG is still looking for a new midlaner. Leon "Nine" Kirilin is only standing in for the team, and time will tell if he will join officially.

23 has broken several records in Dota 2. He was the first player to reach 12,000 and 13,000 MMR in the game. His mechanical skills are undoubtably impressive, however he is inconsistent in his performance. 23 comes with a high skill ceiling but occasionally has weak performances as well.

This is the first time OG has recruited a player from Southeast Asia and it will be interesting to see how the team performs. OG still has to find a new midlaner for the team. We expect to see the team competing in the Blast Slam Qualifiers next month.
