LOUD have reportedly reached verbal agreements with Gabriel “cortezia” Cortez, Arthur “artzin” Araujo and Luis Henrique “basic” Tessaro for the 2027 VALORANT season, according to reports published on Thursday, November 5, by THESPIKE Brasil journalist Bruno Povoleri. The potential signings are part of the organization's plans to rebuild its Champions Shanghai 2026-winning roster.

cortezia is no longer part of Sentinels' plans, while artzin and basic became available after FURIA announced its withdrawal from the mixed VALORANT scene. All three also attracted interest from MIBR, but reportedly chose LOUD instead. None of the signings has been officially announced, and LOUD declined to comment when contacted by THESPIKE.

cortezia Reportedly Leaving Sentinels for LOUD After Difficult Season

According to THESPIKE's report, Sentinels are expected to facilitate cortezia's departure on amicable terms, despite the Brazilian still being under contract. He participated in the North American organization's tryouts last week and had hoped to remain on the roster. THESPIKE also noted that Sheep Esports was the first outlet to report his agreement with LOUD.

cortezia joined Sentinels in late 2025 after playing for MIBR and competed in all three VCT Americas events in 2026. According to Sentinels' official match records, the team finished Kickoff with one win and three losses. In Stage 1, they went 2-3 in the group stage, finishing fifth in Group Omega and missing the playoffs.

Sentinels again finished the Stage 2 group stage with a 2-3 record, this time placing fourth. In the Play-Ins, they lost to ENVY, defeated 2Game Esports and were eliminated by KRÜ Esports in a 2-0 loss. The team ended its season without qualifying for Masters Santiago, Masters London or Champions Shanghai.

Individually, cortezia recorded a 1.15 rating and 215 ACS across 12 maps in Stage 1, according to VLR.gg. In Stage 2, he averaged a 1.04 rating and 200 ACS across 20 maps, including the Play-Ins.

artzin Expected to Become LOUD's New In-Game Leader

Under the reported agreement, artzin is expected to take over as LOUD's in-game leader, replacing Roberto “erde” Lobos, who held the role on the world championship-winning roster. According to Povoleri's reporting on artzin, the agreement is verbal and still requires a signed contract.

artzin became available after FURIA was not selected for the 2027 VCT partnership program and decided to withdraw from the mixed VALORANT scene. He also received an offer from MIBR, one of his former teams, but reportedly preferred LOUD's project.

artzin competed at Masters Santiago with FURIA in 2026 and previously played for 00 Nation. During the transfer window, he joined Saadhak and pANcada on SÓ TEM VELHO for the first Brazilian qualifier for VCT Americas Kickoff 2027. According to THESPIKE, he has already informed his teammates that he will be leaving the lineup.

basic Also Reaches Agreement With LOUD After Leaving FURIA

LOUD faced competition from MIBR and KRÜ Esports in their pursuit of basic. According to Povoleri's report, all three organizations submitted offers, but the player chose LOUD. The agreement has yet to be formally signed.

basic joined FURIA in July 2025 but had to wait nearly a year to make his official debut with the main roster. He finally made his first appearance during VCT Americas Stage 2 in 2026, playing alongside artzin. FURIA's withdrawal from mixed VALORANT competition left both players available to negotiate with other teams.

What Could LOUD's 2027 Roster Look Like?

The three potential signings come amid major changes to LOUD's Champions 2026-winning roster. Lucca “lukxo” Travaioli confirmed his departure from LOUD on October 29. He and erde have reached verbal agreements with Leviatán, as previously reported by Strafe.

Sebastián “Darker” Castro Cicuamia, meanwhile, has reportedly agreed to join KRÜ Esports after his contract with LOUD expired. Of the team's world championship-winning starters, Enzo “tkzin” Zimiani has reportedly agreed to stay, while David “DaviH” Cruz remains part of the organization's plans for 2027.

If all the reported deals are finalized, LOUD's expected 2027 roster would be:

  • cortezia
  • artzin
  • basic
  • tkzin
  • DaviH

The coaching staff is expected to remain unchanged, with Gonzalo “Romanilly” Manzano as head coach and Miguel “Bati” Batista as assistant coach. LOUD have yet to officially announce any of the three potential signings for 2027.
