Sebastián “Darker” Castro Cicuamia has reportedly reached an agreement to join KRÜ Esports for the 2027 VALORANT season. The Colombian, who won the world championship with LOUD in October, became a free agent when his contract with the Brazilian organization expired on Monday, November 2. The report was published on Wednesday, November 4, by THESPIKE Brasil journalist Bruno Povoleri.

If the transfer goes through, Darker would be another member of LOUD's Champions Shanghai 2026-winning roster to find a new team, following transfer negotiations involving lukxo and erde.

Darker Leaves LOUD After Winning Champions 2026

Signed by LOUD from LAZER, Darker was part of the lineup that secured the organization's second VALORANT world title. He also finished as runner-up at VCT Americas Stage 2 in 2026 and became the first Colombian player to win VALORANT Champions.

His contract expired on November 2, the same day the VCT transfer window opened. Unlike teammates who remained under contract with LOUD, Darker was free to negotiate directly with other organizations.

LOUD Also Prepares for lukxo and erde's Departures

The latest development comes just weeks after LOUD's triumph in Shanghai. Lucca “lukxo” Travaioli and Roberto “erde” Lobos, the Champions 2026 MVP, reached verbal agreements with Leviatán for 2027. According to an earlier report from THESPIKE Brasil, LOUD accepted the Argentine organization's offer for the duo, although the transfers were still awaiting final paperwork.

Another player whose future remains uncertain is Enzo “tkzin” Zimiani, who joined LOUD on loan from KRÜ for the final stretch of 2026. The Argentine organization wants to keep him, but the validity of his contract is disputed. According to THESPIKE, Riot Games indicated that he could be considered a free agent, a position KRÜ disputes.

Among the championship-winning players, David “DaviH” Cruz was the only one under contract with LOUD through the end of 2027, according to information published by THESPIKE in late October. Outside the server, LOUD has also been working to extend head coach Gonzalo “Romanilly” Manzano's contract for another two years so he can take part in the roster rebuild.

KRÜ Prepares New Roster for VCT Americas 2027

Darker is KRÜ's first reported addition for next season. The Argentine organization has held player tryouts and has already announced the departures of Brazilian players Leonardo “mwzera” Serrati and Olavo “heat” Marcelo. The futures of other roster members also remain undecided.

KRÜ and LOUD are both confirmed VCT Americas partner teams for 2027. THESPIKE Brasil contacted both organizations for comment on the reported agreement involving Darker, but both declined to comment.
