Rewarded for their exceptional performances throughout the season, the recipients of the 2024 LCK Summer Season awards have once again demonstrated their dominance in Korea's premier League of Legends competition.

With playoffs on the horizon, let’s take a closer look at the standout players and coaches who have claimed top honors this summer.

Summer Season MVP:

Rookie of the Year:

  • Heo "Lucid" Dong-hyeok [Dplus KIA]

Best Head Coach:

  • Kim "Kim" Jeong-soo [Gen.G]

Player of the Split:

1st Team All-Pro:

  • Top Lane: Kim "Kiin" Ki-in [Gen.G]
  • Jungle: Kim "Canyon" Geon-bu [Gen.G]
  • Mid Lane: Jeong "Chovy" Ji-hoon [Gen.G]
  • AD Carry: Kim "Peyz" Ji-hoon [Gen.G]
  • Support: Son "Lehends" Jae-hwan [Gen.G]

2nd Team All-Pro:

  • Top Lane: Choi "Doran" Hyeon-joon [Hanwha Life Esports]
  • Jungle: Han "Peanut" Wang-ho [Hanwha Life Esports]
  • Mid Lane: Kim "Zeka" Geon-woo [Hanwha Life Esports]
  • AD Carry: Park "Viper" Do-hyeon [Hanwha Life Esports]
  • Support: Ryu "Delight" Yoo-hwan [Hanwha Life Esports]

3rd Team All-Pro:

  • Top Lane: Hwang "Kingen" Seong-hun [Dplus KIA]
  • Jungle: Moon "Oner" Hyeon-joon [T1]
  • Mid Lane: Gwak "Bdd" Bo-seong [KT Rolster]
  • AD Carry: Kim "Aiming" Ha-ram [Dplus KIA]
  • Support: Ryu "Keria" Min-seok [T1]

Chovy and Peyz take home the Season MVP and Player of the Split awards after playing their part in Gen.G's record-shattering season, with the young AD carry recently becoming the youngest player to reach 1000 kills in LCK history.

Ultimately, Gen.G's dominance in the LCK in 2024 truly shines through in these awards, winning all individual awards except for Rookie of the Split (for which they were not eligible), while completely taking over the 1st All-Pro team.

Perhaps most disappointing is Aiming finding himself all the way down at 3rd Team All-Pro. The DK AD carry has led the season in CS per minute, gold per minute, damage per minute, kill participation and kill share among all players in his position.

Unfortunately, due to his team finishing the season in 3rd place, Aiming's heroics have largely gone unnoticed.

The 2024 LCK Summer Season has truly been an incredible journey, marked by outstanding performances from some of the best players in the world. As we head into the playoffs, all eyes will be on these award winners to see if they can continue their stellar play and lead their teams to victory.

Locke in League of Legends: Abilities, Playstyle, Release Date

Riot’s newest champion, Corvin Locke, arrives as a nail-slinging exorcist versed in forbidden rites, shaped by a childhood steeped in Demacian lies and hypocrisy. Born to Demacian occultists, Locke grew up learning a brutal lesson: demons are not the source of humanity’s darkness, but its consequence. That belief drives his mission now—to tear through every soul, expose its hidden rot, and make the world a little more honest, one exorcism at a time.
