Heroic's roster rebuild gains momentum with the addition of Damjan "kyxsan" Stoilkovski, the seasoned in-game leader (IGL) from Macedonia.

Kyxsan's impressive 2023 campaign with Apeks, culminating in a top-four finish at the BLAST.tv Paris Major, caught the attention of the esports community.

 

In an emotional statement, Apeks said goodbye to kyxsan stating:

"After an impactful one-year tenure at Apeks, Damjan "kyxsan" Stoilkovski is departing the club to join another project. kyxsan has been bought out of his contract at Apeks and will depart the club with immediate effect.

We take immense pride in Damjan "kyxsan" Stoilkovski’s journey with Apeks, witnessing his growth as a person and as an IGL. Our highlight together was the unforgettable achievement at the Paris Major, where Damjan’s lead led us to an exceptional performance."

Commenting on the transfer, Apeks COO Anders Kjær expressed enthusiasm for Stoilkovski’s future endeavors, stating,

“It has been an honor to have Damjan "kyxsan" Stoilkovski as part of the Apeks family. His dedication and leadership have been invaluable to our team’s success. While we are sad to see him go, we are immensely proud to witness his transition to Heroic. We wish him the very best in this new chapter of his career.”
